A fox tale
In the winter it is cold and it can be lonely.
It is difficult to find your friends.
Sometimes you see some others.
On second thoughts you best hide yourself when you see a bunch of wolves.
When you do find a friend it is time to make fun.
Have fun and prosper!

The dark ages of eRepublik
In these times I had my best and my worst moment. Working together gives me and hopefully almost anyone good times. In those times (2008-2009) you could build defense systems and hospitals. To make them you needed wood and people that were specialized in construction. The more you did work in construction, the better skill you got. I was active in the Netherlands and that nation had good construction workers and Q5 factories (highest possible at that time). With the introduction of V1 you needed wood as resource. The Netherlands didn't have that. we started to cooperate with France. they had wood, but not such good workers and companies. Together we build a lot Hospitals and Defense Systems. Awesome!
In those times Belgium and The Netherlands became one nation. To see that falling apart because of nationalism and hatred was something I will never forget and made me leave the eNetherlands.

Those were nice days and luckily we can still have fun with the current game mechanics.
Those were the times when communication and cooperation outweighed visa cards

Yeah but it seems that they only kept the q5 tank artwork out of all 5 "dark age" tanks. And they kept the q5 Rifle and and Q5 Helicopter.
Does that mean that back then there was some kind of avio mode? And were the ground fighters separated into infantry (rifles) and tanks (.. well tanks)?
