It's just a game, bro...
Don't call me bro, bro
Sorry, bruh
ar too many of you taking yesterday's events far too personally. Remember this is only a game!
I really love the eUK lately
Most fun I've had with this game in years.
damn sight more amusing than the past 6 months!
I have to agree - the whole exercise was entertaining..... The next iteration (with even larger determination loading against the Dictatorial Team) will be even more interesting!
Nah
You Iranian...
Did you think we wouldn't notice the hijab Al-Keerda?
Racist. Just cos I have a beard.
I think it's more to do with your Anti-Semitism.
I don't mind semites, as long as they have beards.
But, if they would add ePalestine, would you support them or eIsrael?
@Pannonian Nomad, they aren't ever going to add Palestine because they don't add non-existent states. Palestine has never existed as an independent state. Prior to 1948 it was part of the British Mandate, and prior to that it was part of the Ottoman Empire. The Palestinians were just another bunch of arabic people living off subsistence agriculture in an unimportant strip of land between Lebanon and Egypt. Now the majority of them are either engaged actively in rather unpleasant actions in the Gaza strip, or living off UN handouts in Jordan.
So yeh, I'd support fricken Israel. You happy?
Then why do you hate Jews?
Spite once stood for election to parliament for the Labour Party.... Just Google "labour" and "anti-Semitism" and you'll appreciate being anti-Jewish is a requirement to be selected for election.
Mr Knee, don't bring my RL into this please. That's really not acceptable. And if you really want to know, I was and still am a part of labour friends of Israel, and the Jewish Labour group, and have spent most of my time in the Labour Party opposing antisemitism, so less of the bullshit please.
I wasn't have a serious pop at you as it would have been a cheap shot - as PN is not British then I was just pointing out that the party you align to has an image problem when it comes to the religion of Israel.
Are you embarrassed that you once stood for election? You seem keen for that information to be hidden despite the fact it is as well known in eUK politics
No, I was 19 at the time and it was just a case of making up numbers. I handed out a few leaflets and got interviewed for the local paper. That's about it. Not super exciting.
But bringing up my real life, especially stuff that people have clearly searched for, is creepy and inappropriate. Imagine if I just dropped into conversation details about where you work, or who you're in a relationship with. That's happened to me before. I've received creepy and even threatening messages IRL. Therefore I really don't find it funny or entertaining when people use it as a way to get at me. If you want to have a go, do it based on my erep gaming, not my real life. Unless you're willing to put your own personal life on the table on discord or something, in which case fine.
Are you funded by George Soros?
He once bought me a vanilla chai latte at Leicester Square starbucks.
On the basis for years you used your real name then you can hardly complain that people know who you are in real life - your prior political ambitions is open knowledge and hardly one of creepy investigations. It would be like King Willy complaining if people call him Ajay and the fact he was once a Republican candidate when he provided
information himself.
You have my sympathy (Not that you probably care for it) for any stalking or threats you may have received in real life. Been there, done that...
If I did post in eRepublik my work place, my real name and any other details then I might prefer it to be hidden but I can hardly demand people forget the information. If you hired a Private Investigator to find the info out and then post it then that would be a completely different matter.
Yeh, some older people know my real name. However that isn't a licence for you and others to post real life information about me all over the place. In case it hadn't occurred, there's a reason I no longer use my real name here. Also, some of the information posted about me is stuff people have searched for themselves, not stuff I've volunteered. The election stuff is part of that, I never discussed that. People searched it themselves and posted it publicly in my articles. That's doxxing and it's not a nice thing to do.
While I respect your right to protect your identify (I refrain from calling you your birthname upon polite request from yourself), it's a bit strange to then complain when it was you, yourself that put that information online. If I recall correctly, you picked your real name as some kind of social experiment to yourself (something wanting to see if others or yourself act differently?), whilst also putting the information that you once ran for Labour in to the public domain. Running in an election makes it rather hard to keep privacy intact.
If anything, you doxed yourself...
Yeh, when I was 20 and still in uni that was my rationale. Ten years later things are a bit different. And that doesn't make any sense Wayne. If I found out your real name, I wouldn't immediately try and find out where you worked/lived and so on and then post it in public forums. That's the difference between knowing some stuff about someone, and being a git.
There are loads of wierdos on the internet. One time I've added Aaron as a friend on Facebook with a fake female profile, but when he turned 18 I wasn't interested anymore, so I've removed him, all in all what I'm saying is that Aaron is weird for example.
I don't think any of us present have done such things, so I don't understand the point you are making. I agree in being anonymous on the internet if you so wish. As I said, you asked me politely to refrain from using your real name, which I have done. You gave up your personal information and the fact you ran in an election of your own accord. I'm sure friend and foe alike checked Google for confirmation of your alleged 'past political life'. That doesn't amount to doxing, considering the election results are public information and you freely gave up your name.
not slightly, brev
Me no quit just yet; still have tanks an' ammo.
new moments 😇
Probably still gonna quit
This game is even more boring than it was. It seems that in order to have any say you have to have a big credit card capacity or suck up to the great whale.
The main interest for me was the politics part.
Well, you'll have it back soon. Only 30 days of Dictatorship and you people talk about it like it lasted for years...
for real, TUP complaining about a process that takes 30 days, that's about the amount of time to write an article or decide to form a sub committee to look into the thing that we were talking about.
I will only believe that when I see it and how long will democracy last until Pirate's decide they have had enough of it? Start a coup because of Hilary's emails or some other made up outrage!
Good point, I'll suggest the next coup is because Keithunder thought we should do it. But I'm not sure why you think it's possible to link a statement where we explain your impatience, with a request of us to promise that you'll not get owned again. I mean fair play, nice try; anyone falling for that gives you ammo for 'but you said you'd play nice'.
No. The point stands as PN put it, and yes you may have to suffer again in the future for your love of democracy.
"Well, you'll have it back soon."
Not according to UKSF, who states that he'll only relinquish it to a proper fight/it has to be pried from his cold dead hands.
Well, yes, he said that, and his comment applies to the Democracy leader, as stated, and it was as written.
On the other hand, I actually wish he keeps the Dictatorship, it's not bothering me, but it's not my decision..
you never did anything in any module...
None o that is new information and politics part is just as shallow as other modules. I fail to find what's so interesting about it as p much the only things to discuss in congress are where to set the tax rate on a scale from 1 to 3 percent, and who we should take as TW partner.
In fact 'congress' and cabinet official did more reading due to the large amount of planning by UKsF.
[removed]
Why, was that the mission statement?
No, I just see a lot of whining going on.
Did you only just arrive in the eUK?
Why are we still playing this game?
No idea, Rodders
I hear there's a better life waiting for you in WRP Robski
