[ESO] - We are the Future
The eUK has been through a lot in the last couple of months hasn't it? Even now activity is sweeping over Europe and the rest of the world. Will alliances split?, Will peace deals be made and what region swaps are going to be negotiated in the coming weeks and months, only plato knows. However keeping our feet firmly on the ground back here in the eUK, things are changing in the political picture. ESO is growing and the potential beast within seems to be taking off and taking grip of the eUK.
ESO is one party in the UK that is capable of real change and we need your help to fulfill it.
ESO is now offering many more roles to new members in: Media, Congress Elections, Competitions and places in Legion. We want you to help us lead the eUK into a new direction that hasn't been seen before.
It is in our view, ESO is the best party for new members & as a party to grow under and I want to offer this opportunity to everyone. We openly embrace all new players to join us and really enjoy the game for what it is, the community. Joining ESO offers a number of mouth watering opportunities for any willing newcomer and we are best placed to support you for a number of reasons. Firsly, we are warm & friendly and offer help to anyone who needs/asks for it and we go that extra mile to get information new players or existing players request. but also we are extremely active, in fact recent elections and IRC activity pretty much confirms this now. That aside ESO in general just plays the game to enjoy it, and to extend the feel-good factor to all.
Even in the cabinet, we are showing signs we are the future, with the Current CP & vCP, MoR, MoHA and MoD being ESO members (with many more in deputy and helper roles), and we want to improve that with your help.
So in summary:
~ ESO; Has a fantastic community, something not many achieve or maintain, ESO has been vibrant and exciting since I arrived and before. We have the most active IRC (chat) room and we also receive the highest turn-outs in elections
~ Friendship; Even though this is linked to community, it needs a section of its own. The friends you make in ESO are forever and no doubt will be there for you, in many ways, from partners in politics, helping you when you ask, and vice versa.
~ Development; ESO others the most intensive and compulsory drive for development in all aspects. Striving to get members to achieve the highest they can achieve and even beyond it.

Why do you feel the need to buy votes?
I speak for myself here and possibly many others but I would prefer to see articles getting into the top 5 on their own merits.
I can understand that some articles (PM's Daily Report) might justify the necessity of buying votes but this article doesn't, its full of waffle and doesn't actually give us a single reason to join ESO, every single thing that you listed that ESO can do for you is available from other parties aswell.
If you want a system stopped, I find the best way is to abuse the hell out of it. Those most vocally against this have abused the hell out of it in the past and I expect will continue to do so. Perhaps this little episode might create a few more rifts between TUP and ESO, and perhaps that is why suddenly the call is for unity - merely an attempt for TUP to gain more allies...perhaps
Personally though I've always found the article voting system somewhat petty, so I largely ignore it.
Call for unity is something for this period? The Unity Party. One of our slogans is Unity is Strength. Nothing new for TUP.
ESO is very active in the current government that is good. To claim ESO has the most active IRC chatroom is something BigAnt cannot know. He is not been in TUPs for ages. To claim ESO receives the highest turn-outs in elections is hilareous. 10 seats for ESO, 15 for TUP in last Congress elections. CP elections it only won by a few votes but with support from UKPP & PCP.
The other claims made in the article are made the same way. Friendship in ESO does not last forever, some people leave ESO.
ESO for sure needs more members to be the one that rules eUK. The claim that it is the best party for new players is false. Look to what UKPP achieves and look to the new players from TUP elected in congress.

Sorry its more the fact, TUP feel threatened I feel they will ANYTHING to win (or to stop ESO), we saw that with last months CP elections

@Niemand. Ian Keers is saying hes running as a person not as a party so lets not get drawn into the old arguements of TUP vs ESO debate.
Also looking at your own PPs Congress report ESO did have the highest % votes/turnout of the partys, Even if we didnt win the most seats !!

Congress elections don't give a true reflection of a parties activeness. A true reflection will be the PP elections, in which i predict a turnout of around 140-150 for ESO.
@NWG: I am not in any ESO versus TUP debate. I am for content. You are making me TUP by telling about my own report (although it was Talon's report). Same applies about Iain Keers, I did not say he is TUP.
I do not think the content of ESO is been put forward. I can work fine with people from different parties. When you think my questions is about attacking ESO you are wrong. In short I have two remarks on the article of BigAnt: bragging how good ESO is and having almost no content.

There is no ESO content cause ESO does not run in elections. However should a member of this party run for elections im sure they will provide there own Content.
@WayneKerr - If its all about PP elections then i was pretty much good in it as i won 4x in a row with over 100 votes 2/3 of party members of TUP XDD

ESO PP elections for the past 3 months.
April 2012 Total votes: 92
May 2012 Total votes: 112
June 2012 Total votes: 128
(compared to the other 'big 3' members TUP June 2012 Total votes: 162 UKPP June 2012 Total votes: 111).
So my guestimation of around the 140-150 mark seems pretty much on trend.
PP elections determine activity better than Congress and CP elections, which have the ability to pick up floaters (or non party members) whereas you NEED to be a member of the party to vote in the PP election.

TUP has some brilliant members who play this game in the spirit it was intended, its a shame a few people ruin that.
