[EPU] Becoming One

We have come from all around.

From different parties, we have come.
From different ideologies, we have come.
From different MU’s, we have come.

We’ve come for a simple reason; a simple calling:

“Leave it all behind.”

That’s what this new party asks you to do. As the active community has gotten smaller and smaller, it ended up placing the same stalwarts in power. The same people trying to pull the strings. The same people fighting for power and prestige. The same people who kept wronging each other and trying to get ahead at every turn.

Personalities hold grudges against each other, and parties squabble over meaningless items out of spite. It paralyzes our country in a time when we need to come together the most.





So I took up the challenge. The challenge of Civility, Practicality, and Activism. I’m leaving the past behind to build something new. By creating a more civilized political culture and supporting programs, we can bring more people out of the fringes and into a more involved role. We can make people less afraid of becoming involved or even… want to be involved.

After all, how many times have you heard someone say they won’t run for Congress or visit the forum because of the culture?

We won’t play that game anymore. We commit ourselves to a different play style; a different game. We’ll collaborate and support practical ideas and our fellow citizen, with respectability and civility.

We won’t let our differences divide and paralyze us. We won’t let it divide and poison our nation.

Though we come from different backgrounds, we come together to make something better.

Out of many, we become one.
