[ENG] MPP Graphics + Make your own graphic

Day 3,373, 02:41 Published in Spain Spain by Warmdox

Hi eWorld.
I'm trying to understand better the military module, so I've decided to make my own MPP graphic.

I made a force-directed graph and a separate alliances graph, easier to see but less "mathematical".

FORCE-DIRECTED GRAPH

Click on it to see it bigger

We can see a form of "C", with Pacifica in the middle, Syndicate and Asteria to each of its sides and Orion/Adriatica in the extremes. Also, the Asteria-Orion side has more MPPs with countries without alliance than the Syndicate-Adriatica side.

The only countries with MPPs on both sides are Belarus, Paraguay, Albania and South Korea.

Some data:
Internal MPPs not counted

In these gifs you can observe the MPPs of each alliance:

Adriatica

Syndicate

Pacifica

Asteria

Orion

SEPARATE ALLIANCES GRAPH

In this graph we can see better the pro Asteria/Orion countries.

MPPs of each alliance:

Orion

ONLINE EDITABLE GRAPHICS

It's difficult to distinguish the MPPs of each country, so I've uploaded the graphics to a page that allows editing.

Do whatever you want with them 😉

DOWNLOABLE FILES

Maybe someone wants to make their own graphics or just update these, so I uploaded some files.

I use the program "Cytoscape", that is free and easy to use. You need Java SE Runtime Environment to use it.

How to open the graphic?

1. Open the .cys file

2. Import the corresponding style

3. Apply the style

4. Ready to use
