Day 3,139, 02:15 Published in France France by Diplomatie Francaise

Hello eWorld,

So, for the record, we come to you with a serie of articles we are starting that we call “France isn’t only Paris!”. We’ve noticed most of foreigners know France mostly for its capital. Capital said to be a city of love, cheeze and bread. But hey! France has way more to offer and especially has way more beautiful places than Paris itself!

Today, we will continue with the region named “Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine”:

What could we tell about Alsace and Champagne Ardennes, so much things ! Yet I have to make it short, so yeah.. What you will find there is the French culture mixed with the German one, I can tell you the cocktail of both is just awesome… Populated by around 5 552 388 people, its capital is Strasbourg.

Strasbourg:

The region, counting a lot of mountains like the Massif des Vosges, has a mountain climate, mixed a bit with an oceanian one. There are a lot of vegetations and tourism in winter especially.

Massif des Vosges:

The other part of the region, previously known as Champagne Ardennes counts many fields and greens.

Another iconic city from this region is Metz and its big church known as the Cathédrale Saint-Etienne.

A beauty from this region is from its typical villages, have a look!

Besides all the musuem you can visit, if you are lover you'll find your dreamland located in Mulhouse, there is the “Cité de l’automobile” !
Filled with beautiful cars, old cars that had a great history, this is a must see so I feel obliged to share the link :

Now we’ll talk big deal, in Nancy, there is the “Place Stanislas", considered as one of the most beautiful plaza in the world !

The region produces.. well.. As its name say it, you know, that thing you drink to celebrate, known everywhere.. Yes, I’m talking about CHampagne !

And to end.. What could be more awesome than eating a Choucroute from Strasbourg altogether ? Nothing.
