Somos el producto de tres años de luchas. Hemos crecido a la sombra de nuestra Sierra Maestra sangrando ron. Hemos celebrado la piel del cocodrilo tras haberlo cazado siguiendo el rito ancestral. Somos los eCubanos de ayer y somos los eCubanos de hoy. Hemos visto oscurecer nuestra piel, hemos visto crecer nuestras barbas. Somos el viento de Varadero azotando los techos de las casas. Somos el humo del habano, pero también somos el fuego de la hoguera.


Nosotros, los Barbudos, declaramos:


1. Que nuestro único objetivo político será proteger los intereses de eCuba y sus ciudadanos.

2. Que sólo lucharemos por eCuba y sus aliados tradicionales, sean o no aliados conyunturales.

3. Que no descansaremos hasta que la rueda de la historia vuelva a girar para acabar los procesos transformadores inacabados.

4. Que todo el que sienta a eCuba como su única prioridad será bienvenido en nuestras filas y será tratado como un igual.


We are the product of three years of struggles. We have grown under the shadow of our Sierra Maestra while we were bleeding rum. We have celebrated the skin of the crocodile after having hunted it following the ancestral rite. We are the eCubans of yesterday and we are the eCubans of today. We have seen our skin darken, we have seen our beards grow. We are the wind of Varadero whipping the roofs of houses. We are the cigar smoke, but we are also the fire of the bonfire.


We, the Barbudos, declare:


1. That our only political objective will be to protect the interests of eCuba and its citizens.

2. That we will only fight for eCuba and its traditional allies, whether or not they are contiguous allies.

3. That we will not rest until the wheel of history turns again to end the unfinished processes of transformation.

4. That everyone who feels eCuba as their only priority will be welcomed in our ranks and will be treated as an equal.
