#03 - Interview with pammaxoc [EN]

Hi, everybody! Today we are gonna have an interview with pammaxoc.

- Who is pammaxoc? Tell us a little bit about yourself. You are a football referee, right?  

I'm 38 years old family lad. I'm real greek but i live permanently in uk. Working as supervisor in a distribution centre.

Officiated my first football match at the age of 16 years old. Officiating in total more than 22 years in a row. About 18 years for the Greek federation and i had the privilege to be qualified ref in national leagues for many years.

Now days got about 5 years that i'm officiating for the local Cloucestershire FA a variety of leagues such as women,men,Youth boys n girls(U12,U14,U16),veterans,disability and county cup matches.

Being a ref all these years kept me fit and self motivated to reach my personal goals.


- How being a football referee has helped you in eRep? I'm sure there were lots of troubles for you to solve here... among some rage! 

FA always appointed me in very difficult matches cause they knew that got the skills to secure the health and safety of the players and control the match by enforcing the laws of the game.

Same in erepublik never stayed in the shadow just clicking but i was always first on the battlefields fighting hard and even in the politics giving diplomatically battles where ever was needed. We are behind a screen but we can't hide our character and our personality 😉 


- Would you give a red card to Plato? 

Ofc will send him off for 2 things 🙂

1.Terrible customer service:We all had faced enormous ridiculous delays on tickets and often the replying is not giving u answers rather makes u more confused than before.

2.New players😛lato must do something for new players and try to motivate them perhaps with a newbie div.




- What can you say about your RL country? Is there any recommendation? 

Greece is a very beautiful country with lovely beaches and hospitality at it's finest.

My home town is Khalkida capital of the island of Evia. The island is one of the closest to Athens and yet it is one of the most unknown. Mainly cause Evia is so large. Second in size after Crete.

- What made you start to play eRepublik? 

A close friend that we used to play another game together asked me to join him in Erepublik.


- What part of the game you like the most? 

Love the fighting part.

Also the political and diplomatic is keeping me happily busy as well.


- Some people say you were one of the persons who fixed Egypt in the game. Talking by myself, I'm on Egypt now due its ancient culture and all that it represents. What made you go to Egypt in eRep? Do you already know the country in RL?  

I first came in eEgypt to get Dictator medals and i end up staying here ?? Got already second (going for third) Egyptian legendary rank.

Egypt was a country that was selling Dictator n Cp medals but that was about to change. After my second month we stopped doing that and we started sharing those medals only among members of our ''family'' (Community).

Since then we started ''pushing'' hard in all directions to get as many as possible we could gain more (regions,taxes,tw,congress etc).

We started making the best possible decisions for our interests.

For the size and the military power i think we r doing fine and we enjoy the game this way.

I had never been in Egypt in rl but i would love to go one day.  


- I know I always make this question, but this is something I have to. There is a huge problem about the new ones who tries to play eRepublik. Do you think the game is broken because of packs like Maverick and Infantry? Tell us what you think about it. 

Like i told u above Plato must do something with new players. Also Plato must do something with all the lower divs players (d1-2-3).

It seems that Plato gave everything to d4 players from ground battles (all divisions with mav ) to aerial.

It doesn't seem right specially when someone with 10-15 legendary ranks is coming in lower divs and gets easily all Bh/Ch/Sh.
