Xavier’s Prime Ministerial Candidacy Speech

Day 590, 23:16 Published in Australia Australia by Xavier Griffith

My Fellow eAustralians,

I hereby officially announce my candidacy for the eAustralian Prime Ministership of our Great Nation.

This nomination comes due to the support of the Independent members of the Australian Independent Party. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the AIP members for their support and the opportunity to be the first Independent Prime Minister of eAustralia.

Some of you already know me and of me, and some of you don’t, so for those that don’t, here is some historical information on me.

About Me

I was eborn in Victoria on the 18th October 2008 or Day 333 of the New World when eAustralia was still completely under eIndonesian rule and oppression. I sought out the other eAustralians living in the occupied country and the eworld and found most that you already know, namely Cottus Arci, Zaney, Patti11, Corny-ratbag, Scotywest, Taytaz and Derek Apollyon to name a few. Together we fought alongside each other in 2 Resistance wars to regain our regions and throw off the yoke of our eIndonesian oppressors. While still not being strong enough to regain our beloved country by force, we had proven that we could cause a lot of trouble for the eIndonesians, and so, we over came our mistrust of each other and diplomatic discussions were entered into regarding the return of our Nation.

To this end, the eIndonesian Government met with the senior members of the eAustralian Resistance and Government in Exile and through these diplomatic discussions we gained NSW, then Victoria. I was happy to be involved in this process. Over the long months, we have rebuilt our Country piece by piece, and the trust and friendship between the eIndonesians and eAustralians has slowly grown as both Governments worked together to allow all of eAustralia to once again be one whole land. The eIndonesians have shown their Honour in keeping their signed agreements which has ever increased eAustralians trust and friendship with them.

Political History and Experience

I was elected as a Senator of the 1st eAustralian eParliament. I have since served eAustralia in the Senate for 4 Terms. I was the Senates elected Speaker for 3 Terms and Deputy Speaker for 1 Term. Look towards the Senate to see my legacy for the country I love so well. I setup and refined the duties and Authority of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, which are in place today due to my stubborn actions to ensure that the Senate became a check on the Executive Government (Cabinet). The Senators Bills and Proposal templates I implemented, in an endeavour to make the duties of the young blood that followed easier.

It was through my work at the suggestion of Prime Minister Patti11 that the Government now has official Acts and policies that are open to the public to see and read. It was I that drew up the original Australian - Indonesian Region Return Agreement (AIRRA) (04/09) which was given to the eIndonesians to discuss regarding the return of our Nation in full, and which we are now regaining our country.

I served in Prime Minister Patti11’s Cabinet as the Minister of Information. This Department was created in an endeavour to give basic Government Information to the people through its Newspaper so that all might have a basic understanding of the Governments actions and policies as part of its transparency policy.

Over the last month I spent time in eUK, eTurkey and eIsrael, watching, learning and aiding others where it was possible. I joined the eIsraeli Knesset and started to suggest and attempted to aid that nation to gain a more transparent Government and set policies in place to allow eIsrael to operate more smoothly. I admit, this didn’t work well, and I also admit that I only got into the Knesset on 1 vote, which happened to be my own. But eAustralia will always be my home.

Some thought I had left you, but I was always watching, I freely offered my aid, support and assistance to those that asked for it, I offered suggestions in relation to proposals in the Senate to those elected members of the Senate and those serving in Prime Minister Tim’s Cabinet.

The times have changed in eAustralia over the last few months. Any Prime Minister that eAustralia now has really is in place for maintenance, however there are somethings I would like to implement if you, the people of our Great Nation, choose to elect me as your Prime Minister.

My Election Promises

What follows is my basic Election promises to you the People of eAustralia should I be elected by you, to lead our Nation through the next month of its ehistory:

1. Creation of Cabinet Procedures in an attempt to have the Cabinet working better as a unit for eAustralia;

2. The Drafting of the eAustralian Constitution. This will be done and presented to the eAustralian People for a Public Referendum prior to being implemented.

3. The scrapping of the Government Apprentice Scheme, and the creation of a Cabinet Intern Scheme or Act to replace it with tighter controls and regulations.

4. The creation of a Senate Intern Scheme or Act similar to the Cabinet one, however it will relate to bringing Interns into the Senate to learn how the Senate Operates and give people some experience before looking at joining the Senate.

5. The creation of the Intern Speaker Scheme, which will provide a learning opportunity for people to learn about the Speaker and Deputy Speakers role, authority and duties.

6. The creation of an Australian Owned scheme for Australian Owned Companies. This Scheme will recognise those companies that are owned by Australians and that produce eAustralian Goods or services. eAustralians will be able to see at a glance, those members of the eAustralian Owned Scheme and hopefully will purchase from them first over foreign competition. Once implemented, all Government Funded Companies will also be required to purchase from them first.

7. Deal with the Import Tax questions in relation some of eAustralia’s RM and production areas that have arisen.

8. Rewrite or revoking of the last War Council Act if possible with a return of power back to the Senate and People of eAustralia regarding war.

9. Investigate options and outcomes in relation to Treaties with other nations, including our Trusted and Honourable Friends eIndonesia.

10. Creation of AIS (Australian Intelligence Service). This will assist eAustralia in keeping ahead of any threat towards us.

11. A serious review of the Department of Finance in an attempt to find a better and more efficient way of gathering Income and Expenditure information and figures to better track these things.

12. A full review with the Department of Industry, in particular the Government Funded Companies, their operation, viability and cost to the country. Changes will be presented where it is felt they are needed.

13. Review of the Department of Defence, specifically in relation to the Number of Dropbears in the eAustralian Defence Force.

These are the major things I would like to cover and implement in my term as your Prime Minister should I be elected.

I will release my Cabinet Line up in a separate article tomorrow. Remember, I’m an Independent, I have no party alliances to worry about, and am happy to listen to all arguments and ideas.
