Why you shouldn't vote for New Era

Fist i'd like to say i write this article as an enthusiastic supporter of New Era in general but to adress the situation of the Serbian PTO (if you want to call it a PTO)
New Era have done a lot of good. They tried and were successful at ending all the decisions and discussions of eUK taking place on the forum which hardly anybody used and alien to new players. They also tried to stop the hoarding of eUK gold (that just sat there till someone inevitably stole it) by giving it too newer players to upgrade their training facilities etc.
New Era have always been vilified just for being different. The "PTO" has been a predictable outcome of this for months They made the game more interesting and fun and i make no bones about it, i would rather vote for BigAnt or Commander Dapper for CP than the people who run from TUP etc.
But if you enjoy being part of eUK, you should not vote for New Era. I don't have a problem with Serbian players coming to eUK and being part of New Era even if it means changing alliances etc. But what you'll see is so many Serbians come that they will control more than just New Era. They will PTO the other main parties in eUK. You need to ask yourself whether you want to be in a party where the people in charge speak Serbian. They will run Serbians for congress and CP and this will not allow new eUK players a chance of getting involved (which is what New Era used to promote.) The important articles about eUK will be written in Serbian.
The population of eSerbia is 9,336
The population of eUK is 1,633 (of which little read articles etc)
After Serbs take control over the parties and running of eUK, people like BigAnt and Commander Dapper would become bored and just move to another ecountry like Australia or Ireland (which they've had no problem doing in the past).
So, if you enjoy being part of the eUK and want to encourage new players to become involved in the game, i would suggest not voting New Era until they drop their policy of encouraging so many foreign players over and go back to fighting against the "establishment" parties the way they used to.

You lost me there.
Perhaps not you in particular but it is the people who have unfairly criticised (to the point of being nasty) people in New Era that gave them the desire to come up with this PTO plan.
I think it's a very weak justification for what has been done, but I'm in agreement this country does need a shake up. The main problem with New Era is it has members leading it that know this and try to use it for their own gain and grabbing power rather than actually wanting to change things to make the eUK a better place.
You have no way of knowing this to make that claim Sam.
Well just looking at some of the members like BA and yourself who have hopped from party to party trying to get success at each one staying there as they feel it's their greatest chance ie hadn't BA been in pretty much every party when he got CP with UKPP/NE? UKPP who soon were ruined after leaving him with just NE to cling on to.

People have no issue with the party itself. What people have issue with is the behaviour of the primary leadership of the party, ie those who have been critisised.
You have got the critisism and PTO bits around the wrong way, ie they aren't PTOing because people are nasty to them. People like Big Ant and Dapper have for years been coming up with plans and schemes to become the leaders of the eUK. And now they have decided that if they cannot be the undisputed supreme rulers of the eUK then no one can be.
The fact is, the only way to stop the PTO is to basically make Big Ant and Dapper the permanent rulers of the country for as long as they want to.
Have some of the comments been nasty? Sure, but to be honest they have been no worse than some of the xenophobic, transphobic and sometimes borderline homophobic comments that some of them (especially Dapper) have come out with. And while it is only a few NE people who have been nasty and vindictive, there have only been a handful of non-NE who have been nasty back - and usually they have been the ones on the end of some of NE's most vindictive attacks.
But they did make the eUK a better place. At least enough people thought so to vote for them to give them the power of creating a PTO.
Everyone should focus on why so many Serbians moving to eUK is bad rather than trying to focus on how evil New Era are if they want to win voters in my opinion.
I agree, but it would be silly to forget the people who caused the problems with the PTOers as there is nothing stopping them do it again. I was actually trying to push some ex-NE members as the official ATO candidate who only left because of Dapper's actions such as letting the Serbians in as I feel this is a much better long term solution for both NE and the eUK.
They didn't make the eUK a better place. Everything that New Era 'fought' for was already being pushed through by UKPP members. Those two months or so when Dapper and his cronies followed BigAnt to ireland were the most united times the country has had in my time playing.
As Mr Knee correctly points out, they ain't doing this cuz people have been nasty to em, they are using Serbs cuz they have failed doing it any other way.

Many faulty assumptions followed by made up consequences. I didn't come here to read some boring articles in Serbian. Stop assuming and start thinking. It's harder but it will make you more independent.
