Gandhi's image is on our notes because Nehru of Congress became the first Prime Minister.
If Patel or Bose became our first Prime Minister, it could have been someone else's image on our notes.

Barely anyone contributes in the early battles, the occupiers fight to keep the region, not everyone from the resistance contributes because of a lack of confidence.

3)Bhagat singh and others used weapons the Britishers also fought back with weapons but Gandhi didnt use weapons only through non-violence but britishers never was able to do the same.Britishers oly knew to use weapon

Ok, so My Opinion not a joke this time,
Everyone deserves a place in our freedom struggle, all those who fought the battle, supported it silently, died in it, everyone...
But what the problem in the early days of the struggle was , the lack of co-ordination. Gandhi in maybe history's most "unbelievable" way, became a leader, a representative, who could bring everyone together, or atleast most people together..
So he became the sign of the entire Freedom Struggle and everyone who is part of it ..
Now for the Reason why his photo stays in the Note,
Its not only his position of "Father of the Nation" that I think, has won him a place there, The Currency note shows his picture as he is the symbol of peace, truth and unity for the nation. He was "SAID" to be the Most Peace-loving, Truthful Person who wanted a Unified Nation. So the main Reason, according to me why his picture is on the currency is bcoz to encourage people to be truthful while using this prestigeous Currency note and see some value in it.. One has to be peaceful while handling it, and in choosing ways in making it.. And One has to have a value to the Note too, You are not giving 100 Rs Paper to a person, When u do that, You have to abide by all Gandhian Values .. So According to me, The True reason why Gandhi's Photo is on the currency is to symbolize the following of all Gandhian Values in the Creation, Exchange and Use of the Indian Ruppe..

What is the problem here? india has 40-50% illiterate population. We are not able to stop illegal money printing even when we have same image on all notes. If we have 10 different people image then it will be more difficult. After 10 leaders, who is going to stop at 10 leaders and then somebody will ask what about next 10 leaders then somebody will ask about cricketers or Bollywood actors image. Where do we stop?

We need to look forward not backward as these are non issues.

It has the image of Gandhi because everyone listened to him...and everyone listens when money talks...

Gandhi is the one who harnessed everyone's energy and gave it direction to trouble the occupiers (which we are not able to do in eRep - we can't even do it in the game and question the one who could do it in real life)

the most ignored guy is the man called gandhi "father of nation". no govt, not congresss nt bjp has evr done anythng to find out his actual whereabouts, we r made to belive he died in an air crash, but there are proves he was still alive during the war of 1971!!!!!! evn our leaders dared to award him the bharat ratna, seriously????????? u r awarding a man who actually toiled to create bharat, bharat ratna???????? shame, whiceva party comes to power they glorify there leaders!!!!!!! this is a the biggest tragedy of our nation.
