Who is Shoot and what happened?

First of all I'd like to remind some of you of the values of eSweden published in my
newspaper as the article
This is Sweden.
In that article I describe what many swedes feel for this game and how we act. I also
recommend you all to read the article

opponents don't expect in order to gain respect and achieve success in the game.

Why infiltrate Germany
Well, when we (me, Misho and some other players) started this operation we recruited
experienced but anonymous citizens to help us gain information from former, present and
possible enemies and Germany was one of these nations.
As Shoot, HansG, Karl Karlsson and the team proved their ability to infiltrate german
politics we decided to make this with a twist and they started making real work in Germany.
They helped Germany with beginner’s guides and Shoot even got appointed as a minister for
his work in Germany.
The pre-war
After a while we felt Germany made progress in their foreign politics and we even supported
them to join Atlantis for a trial preriod as passive members. This made Shoot and his team
turn a bit inactive and they only monitored information within Germany while we hoped for
the positive process to move on. Unfortunatly we discovered more and more information from
Atlantis in places where it didn't belong and noticed that persons outside of Germany's
goverment still had a lot of influence in their politics. People like DKN had far more
information regarding Atlantis than he should have and all that information came through
the german goverment as some people still felt that the former goverment should have access
to this information.
This made us once again mistrust Germany and combined with hostile plans against Sweden
and a SG in Atlantis refusing to start a vote regarding Germany's future in Atlantis
KalleHolm decided it was time to take Germany out, again. Sweden insisted in a vote
regarding Germany's possible membership in Atlantis but the vote never started and we
decided to move out from Atlantis ourselves unless this was done.
Germany obviously felt threatened by Sweden and started making plans on how to lend Sweden
regions to get us into war with The Netherlands instead of Germany and at the same time
made plans to trap Sweden in a position where we were supposed to waste gold in an attack.
During this time we had several leaks from Atlantis to Peace GC and some of them where
confirmed to come from Germany while others leaked because they supported Germany. Sweden
was trapped in an alliance where we could not trust Germany and several other persons so we
had to get rid of the problem and attacked Germany.
Why activate the team?
As Sweden attacked Germany immediately after the vote had gone through we retreated in order
to activate Germany's MPP's and start talking to UK, USA, Canada and Spain regarding if
they were to stay neutral or support Germany through their MPP's.
In a joint warfare with Poland we took the regions we intended and was just about to try
and force Germany to close the war since the MPP's with USA and Spain was about to
dissappear when Peace GC showed their interest through Brazil. Germany had been "kissing
up" to Peace GC nations all the time and finally got someone to support them. Also
Indonesia saw a chance to get involved in Europe so we understood that we had to close the
war quickly or have it open in eternity. Germany had made perfectly clear that they would
not accept anything less than all heir former regions back in order to sign peace so we
made our move.
Shoot came up as one of two candidates in Germany for presidency and finally only needed a
minor "push" from our voting corps as several germans supported his election platform
consisting a peace with Sweden. We then swapped regions a bit by retreating and gave Austria
Vorarlberg back as Germany’s last region and that was the end of Germany.
Next step?
Our new president Jbmalin are in constant negotiations with the germans regarding how they
should gain independence again. We have never intended to keep Germany under our flag but
will keep some regions, Schleswig-Holstein is one for sure. Depending on how those
negotiations develop we will have Germany back on the map in time for the upcoming
elections.
Personally I'm exhausted with all work in military, foreign politics, personal companies
and society and resigned as MoD as soon as Jbmalin was elected. Due to IRL issues I will be
less active but involved in eSweden to insure we do not stop moving forward. My new MoD
will be our hero Shoot with Hador as his Vice Minister and Roteda as
Commander-in-Chief. These guys together with the wonderful officers and administrators in
The Swedish Military will take us to a new era of greatness.
Lessons learned
1) Always make sure you have good information regarding possible or active enemies.

2) Always have a backup plan in case the shit hits the fan. Check
3) Be open and honest with why you plan a war. Check
4) Do not hesitate and show no weakness. Check
5) Know who to trust. Check
6) Aim to win the game. Check
Cliffhanger
You might remember I wrote that Germany was one of the nations we infiltrated. Another
nation was Pakistan, the land of spam and non-existing high ranked officers.
The other nations we have infiltrated are... Well, that's the responsibility of Shoot and
Jbmalin now.

Unfortunately lots of wrong information (not to call it lies) in these articles.
DKN never had ANY information coming from our government and at the same time you are using a careless comment done by one of my ministers to suddenly construct a "trap". There was no trap by my government, just one minister disagreeing with the plan.

@Starka😛 DKN did have information from your goverment that was to be strictly within Atlantis. He also presented us with information directly from your "private" forum so he had/has some sort of access.
A minister is a representative for your goverment. If they make plans to hurt Sweden, they represent your nation.
Enjoy Saarland, I know there will be a long time gefore/if Sweden and Germany will become friends, but we can respect each others as enemies.

Twist it as much as you like, that is not the case. Decisions are made in a group, and there will always be opinions of single ministers that divert from what group decides at the end.
Apart from that: Kalle wanted to hurt us, as he posted in many articles, and you are sheading tears about one of my ministers not supporting your plan? Heh, I didn't know you are the sensible kind, so suddenly.

There's no need for explanations, Germany was given plenty of opportunity to make a deal to avoid what has now happened to them.

Icehacker: Tyvärr blir någon drabbad även om jag gjorde det "för att jag måste". Har även pratat med simcon om det idag och bett om ursäkt om det orsakade han problem, och han verkade förlåtande iaf. Får hoppas att det duger. 🙂

Have to admit it was a brilliant infiltration move gotta respect that much. In a war time situatio it is the well-prepared and often those with low set of morals who wins. It'll also leave other nations wondering who they can trust when they go to future war with Sweden. I mean their Government's may even topple due to a red scare effect seeing that their own representatives may be spies.
Valentine Jaus: Those that go to war WITH us can forever trust us, but those that wish to go AGAINST us.. Should be on the lookout for someone like me, 🙂
THIS is Sweden!
I admit that this was a cunning operation but we do take pride in preparations. One thing I'm really proud of is that we have used a minimum of voting corps/money and focussed on out-playing our opponents.
Feel free to have a flame war, but fact is that we have shown the world that Sweden will take this game to a different level.

@ Shoot: What I meant but of course theres always a good saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer. SO though your political move of dissuading people readin gthis to ally Sweden it should cause them to be weary involving themselves at all with such a nation...
And I'm certainly enjoying this little RW thats set up in Germany... would this also be a political move, sorry not informed well enough to know all the background detail interesting enough though

We old ones have to let new people take the first step in this and also Germany having a new government with new people who don´t know the way to negotiate.
@Starkad, I know that you are better than DKN and Isy and you are smarter than many of you. But if you could have listen to us in the beginning this wouldn´t happend.

You know, there was an incident (you might not remember it anymore) that took place exactly one day after OBS:
There was a pretty new-ish german minister of the interior coming to your chatroom, asking to speak to your government officials.
Eventually he go to talk to both you and redhank and explained that not only the general population, but also most of congress and the ministers had no idea about OBS until it happened, he asked you not to overreact and INSISTED that this was an action done by a single politician and NOT endorsed by the majority of the population......maybe now that I mention this story you remember who this man was.
Those of you who did NOT forget this story could have known that DKN would not have ANY saying in governmental business as long I am president (unless of course, they deliberately make that connection up to be able to lie to themselves that they are doing nothing bad).
I took over office a few days after joining Atlantis, and I made sure that eGermany committed herself 110% in all Atlantis operations to show that we went from worse to better and can be a devoted and reliable ally.
Even though Sweden kept threatening and humiliating us in public, i KEPT being open about all kinds of proposals....but only a SINGLE one was brought forward by Kalle, which was the infamous demand for us to permanently part with 5 of our regions and pay 500 gold/month on top of it.
It was crystal clear how everything would play out in the end and for 5 weeks I was trying to prevent it. You have no idea how hard it was for me to watch all these allies that we embraced and helped the prior 5-6 weeks turn around to partake in the complete destruction of our nation or to turn a blind eye on it.
the moment I read this article many, many years ago was the moment I fell in love with shoot, the most bamf player erep has ever had. miss ya, old friend!
Happened upon this article while searching for another, and just realized this post was less than an hour old, but the first post in 2035 days. Makes me wonder if there are many nostalgic people read this (and other) articles at night, or if it is just heavy traffic tonight.

What the hell was up back than ?
This is eRep history just like the fact eSweden conqured whole eDenmark, eGermany and ePoland and kept them for months. Every single region.
With me as MoD, Kape as advisor and various Swedish presidents.
We made mostly friends from those countries, many still today. For example the one in the post above, vingaer. She is still a friend and if I recall she was a good friend of Shoot and even more so of our many terms president Valnad.
It looks like that this was a great time. It's sad that I wasn't there back than. This looks like the game was fun, look there at comments and articles. I've watched erepublik Wikipedia and I saw this game literally stoped at 2016/2017? You see the ppl had fun, did operations, plans and had an active community. Yeah I guess this was the real gaming experience. It's sad that most of the players only monitor numbers on a internet site. May this times come back. Feel free to reveal this times of a fantastic game play. But I guess, it was 10years ago. It's really friendly from you to comment me. Four/five months ago, I watched this all erep wikipedia articles at a long train journey. I was stucked between Amsterdam and Cologne. Honestly somehow I still think it was unbelievable. Great gameplay you've done back then, hats up!
