What Oh What To Buy

Who here loves gold? It’s so sparkly and shiny and we all just can’t help but hoard it like leprechauns. But there are some things that gold should be spent on which will both increase the amount of fun you will have in the game, as well as make it much faster to get MORE gold. So here is a little guide (mostly for newer players) but I still hope you enjoy it.
First let’s begin by finding out exactly how much gold you have at any given time:

Surely this is a very familiar display for you all it shows many things but lets focus in on the thing that we all care the most about, shall we?

There that’s better, as you can see I have obtained a meager amount of gold, there are a few things that I can do with it, and some are good ideas and others not so much. For one I can trade it in for CC (AUD) at the MONETARY MARKET for whatever the going rate is for gold at the time. I could also invest in a newspaper (obviously I already have) but when you begin I believe the most important thing to do is upgrade these

These are perhaps the most important buildings in erepublik, they are called TRAINING CENTERS and you increase your strength in them (duh) the great thing is, is that after every 250 strength points you get 5 gold! So the faster you upgrade these the better! Also ALWAYS use the .19 G one it will cost but you will get up to 50 faster, and it will give you more than you spent to get there! Now let’s get to the one thing nobody should spend gold on!

Yes friends, it is the infamous first aid box! It will restore a small but of heath for the high price of just .5 gold! Now I know when you’re fighting, and you run out of food how hard it is too not push that button. We have all been there but please for the love of Australia don’t do it! It is perhaps the biggest waste of gold to ever be gold on the market and I guarantee you will regret it down the line! If you feel like you HAVE to go buy some energy bars they fill up 100 heath and are a much better value!
