Weed the People, or why I chose the WTP as my new party

Day 1,841, 20:38 Published in USA USA by Serendipitous

I won't sugarcoat it for you. I have been in several parties throughout my e-life. I started in the UIP, or United Independent Party (a misnomer I know), and eventually moved to the AAP, which I'm pretty sure stood for America Advancement Party. The AAP, probably because it was the largest party in the country with well over a thousand members during my tenure, afforded me many political opportunities.

With their sheer numbers I was consecutively elected to congress four times, making myself well-known (I guess. I think I was a fluke at this point) enough to be elected to the position of Speaker of the House by the general body.

After that, I quit the game shortly thereafter. I was burned out. But upon my return I joined up with the United States Workers Party, probably because I knew a good deal of people there.

It gets a little hazy for me. Perhaps chief among those reasons is I became a Weedenite with my once-political nemesis, Jude Connors (who lost the position of SoH against me), and became, as second-in-command youngHOOD told me not so long ago, the third-in-command of the United States Marijuana Party. We all know how that turned out...

But alas, I also left that shortly thereafter. And now, I find myself here. After a scant week in the USWP, I left to find another party where I could thrive. John Jay and his fellows offered me that in We the People, the newest of the top five parties. Professionalism, growth, a host of impressive people with impressive resumes, some of whom I knew, others who I did not (looking at you Mazzy), but plenty of people with lots to teach me.

Perhaps because of, or maybe in spite of the fact, that I have bounced around so often, I have never been involved in party politics at great levels. I've just worked in political life in general.

With that, ladies and gentlemen, I formally welcome myself to the party of the people, for the people, by the people.

We the People.
