Was an Immigration Policy Ever Decided?

My cursory review of the approved and pending applications show that a few congress members have granted citizenships, a larger number of congress members have granted 0 citizenships, and that there are today 177 applications pending.

Some of those applications look weak, others look better, and, either way, that is not my primary concern here. What I am wondering is, has there been the discussion about how to grant citizenships this month? We are now over 3 weeks into the congressional session, and in another week it will be over.

In an interview with Iphigenia, I had commented that what others view as hesitation I saw as prudence. However, if something is not done soon, I will have to take back those words. The congress has the ability to approve everyone in the queue; it is only a question now of whom they want to exclude and who gets to be included.

(It can't be that bad!)

Some raise the specter of hostile political takeover. Given the background of the vast majority of these candidates, that seems a remote concern. Has anyone their own experience with the process? Has anyone information on the way things are being done now or in the future? It has to be discussed eventually and not just left as an elephant in the room.

There are people who wish very much to contribute to eGreece now and in the future, and have done so for a month or more already, who are commenting about how they are making applications for citizenship for a 3rd time or more. They deserve an explanation. Better yet, they deserve fair process of their applications, as they could receive in so many countries of eRepublik but have chosen to ask it of eGreece.
