Voting Record and other things

Day 833, 14:05 Published in Belgium Belgium by Kylero

I feel that it's time for me to share with my constituents how hard I have been working for them these past few days. I have been extremely active on the forums and have had several constructive debates with my colleagues in the parliament.

My Voting Record

Change minimum wage from 2BEF to 1.5BEF (Passed)- YES: This was proposed by me and was the first proposal of this session. This act is to encourage business upstarts in our country.

Tax Changes
Food (Passed)-YES: I voted for this because it makes food more affordable for eBelgians.
Gifts (Passed)- YES: This makes it cheaper to gift, I like.
Weapons (Failed)- NO: Keeping in-line with neutrality, I don't think it is necessary for cheaper weapons at this time
Moving Tickets (Failed)- NO: I don't want eBelgium to be a hub for global PTO operations.

Transfer of money for State companies (Passed)- NO: There are plenty of private companies that can provide jobs and I do not wish to plague future sessions with entitlement spending.

The "Hangover Act" (no weekend voting) (Failed)- NO: This is a purely selfish proposal. The people of eBelgium need to know we're workign for them 24/7.

Change Constitutional Amendment Procedure (Passed)- YES: I proposed this to make it harder to amend the constitution. Instead of a 51% majority, it now requires a 2/3 majority to revise the constitution.

Other things worth mentioning
While I have had constructive debates with some of my colleagues, other have been nothing but obstructive and irresponsible.

I do indeed own a food company, and at that, I maintain the cheapest food prices in the country. A reasonable person would appreciate what I am doing for the people of eBelgium, yet that is not so. I have been ridiculed by MP Elynea for my company. Yet, it was apparently important for him during congressional debates that eBelgians should be able to afford food. Is he invested in one of the two "real" Belgian companies with 800+ sotck wanting to gouge the market? Working for the company that PMed me warning me to raise my prices? I do not know, but it is hard to call yourself a true eBelgian when you call out someone who wishes to start a business in this country and offer cheap products!

I am a reasonable person. I have bucked my own party many times for the wellbeing of our nation. This continued speculation of PTO because I'm a RL American needs to end because I have proven myself otherwise!

I have many more plans for this nation, and will continue doing the work of all eBelgians as I have been sent here to do!

Thank you and merci beaucoup!
