Vote Bisa97 for 4th Consecutive Term in Senate - WA!!!

Day 824, 16:26 Published in Australia Australia by Bisa97

Fellow eAussies,

I've officially decided to run for my fourth consecutive term for senate in Western Australia (WA)... As I have done the last three elections I will post a little about myself and from there where I stand on current events that relate to eAus. As always, feel free to drop me a PM in game or on the forums if you have any specific questions you would like addressed.

I was born on day 701 of the New World and while still a young member of society I have contributed immensely during my short time here. I was fortunate enough to be elected as one of the youngest Senators in eAus during my first term and have been active from day one. I have voted in EVERY senate proposal that has crossed the table in both the forums and in game. So yes, I am one of the active Senators and have demonstrated I am not just in it for the XP or 5gold.

Joining EDEN:
--I have been in support of and was vocal throughout the process on my willingness to join EDEN. I must say I am very excited with the overwhelming support we received from both the Senate and eAus citizens during both referendums. Ultimately it will allow us to come out of our isolationist shell and finally become a more active member of the eWorld as a country. Being neutral and not taking a side is not the most productive way to run a country, just ask eSA if you don’t believe that to be true. Looks like the future with EDEN only has great things for eAus.

Q5 Hospital & Defense:
--I think the need for a Q5 hospital & Defense System in Western Australia was quite evident. I feel we utilized the funds correctly and they were best spent in this region. Below are three reasons I supported this…

1. It will help new players that may start there and not realize how to move, etc. So sort of a noob insurance and retention factor.

2. It will help increase the overall population of WA. Who in their right mind is going to stay in a region w/ out a hospital and most lower level players can't afford to move around all the time to get to a hospital.

*Most Important of the Three
3. It will show anyone that is considering attacking us we are confident in our ability to defend WA if an attack were to come. Not placing a hospital in WA shows we are anticipating losing the region and is a sign of weakness on our part in my opinion.

eAus Citizen Growth:
--Just like everyone else, I would love to see the eAus population grow. Some of the factors that have slowed this process recently are the lack of accepting new citizen apps recently, *Note-This was recently fixed thanks to our current MoICS* But we need to publicize our great nation to those out there looking to move out of their current countries. This is especially crucial since it’s been almost a month since we have accepted any new citizen applications. To get the word out and show we are speeding that process up will go a long way to facilitate people making the move to our shores. I also propose to make a standardized message all citizens can cut an paste to recruit new players to the game and eAus in particular. It’s quite an easy process to be honest. The hard part is keeping the new players entertained and active beyond the first month of play. Education, support, and a non-elitist attitude are the keys to success here.

The Economy:
--I am a fan of lowering the import tax on the majority of industries within the country to open up competition and hopefully draw more workers to our shores. As most GMs will tell you, the current wages offered in eAus are quite high when compared with other countries and this is due in large part to a worker shortage. While some may not agree with my next stance I feel that RM companies in medium regions are not effective at all and we should work to eliminate them and allow the workforce in those companies make their way into more productive companies within eAus. This would free up much needed workers and help in bringing the wage issue under control.

Upcoming CP Elections:
--Ok, this is still a ways off, but I am going to throw my pitch out there for Sir_Constant early in the game. This will be his second go at running for CP & hopefully the voters come to his support on election day. He has been a superb President for the Australian National Party (ANP) & deserves the chance to run eAustralia. I think anyone that has ever had the pleasure of working around Sir_Constant would agree that he is one of the most knowledgeable and informed players in our great country.

eAus Military:
--I am an active contributor to the eAus military as XO of Platoon #2 and former CO for Hotel Squad, Third Platoon in the Australian Army Reserves (AAR). I have long said our military members are the heart and soul of this country and should be supported to the fullest extent possible. Providing every chance for members of the eAus military to receive weapons on a daily basis was essential and has now become a reality. This will increase our strength as a nation exponentially & ultimately save each and every one of you that takes the time to join up countless AUDs. Take the time today to become active and join us.

I look forward to my 4th term in Senate and your support on Senate Election Day!!!
