Greetings eAustralia,

As announced in the previous article, Viado Celtru and I are jointly running for Country President of Australia.

This article will provide you, the voting populace of the nation, an idea of what to expect from a Viado/Callum term:

MEDIA & EDUCATION

- We will get back to basics and ensure that daily orders are issued (as well as some additional information put in context of the pertaining situation).

-Daily education articles, although we have a lack of new players the least we can do is try.

-Weekly foreign affairs bulletin, explaining eAustralia's place in the eWorld as well as events effecting our nation.

SENATE

-We plan to start fresh Senate threads and attempt to get them active and encourage participation.

-Discuss at length recruitment methods and other partisan issues.

FINANCE

-Investigate 'lost' money. If this has not been rectified by the end of the term we will follow up with admins and look for a paper trail.

-Taxes discussion in the Senate about the current rates.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS & DEFENCE

-Commander and Executive threads for better coordination and assistance with daily orders

-Re-establishing diplomatic channels, outside of the efforts of Yosemite Sam, we have little presence in the international scene. We wish to have a robust Foreign Affairs team working tirelessly for the benefit of the country.

-Deal with Peru, as of right now not much is known of the Peruvian situation, if it isn't dealt with by the end of the term, we will begin diplomatic talks with Peru in order to find a satisfying conclusion.

-Find effective ways to coordinate and communicate with allies to maximize damage and re-establish friendship between nations.

OTHER

-Discuss with the Senate about effective immigration policy, player retention and attracting new players to the country.

-Potential podcast by Callumh123 (probably not but oh dear).

We hope to release a cabinet article before the end of the campaign, however we have been struggling for active talent.
