Today we have started a new Military Unit. It is meant to be the brother of the Flying Warthog Squadron.

The Warthog has been successfully refuelling our domestic escadrille.
Starting now the US Pentagon will double up in priority air battles with a higher incentive CO but at key air battle time milestones only.

Do you know what t60 means?

Back in the days when eRepublik was a very strategic game and when we were organising hundreds of real life souls to hit together in order to overcome the opposition. To tell fighters when to hit we used an indication based on the time of the battle. So, t30 means 30 minutes after the battle has started; t60 - 60 minutes after the battle has started; t75 - 1 hour and 15 minutes after the battle has started.

While I'm at it - Every campaign has 5-17 battles which last from 1.5 hours to 2 hours depending on how dominant one combatant is. This means that when we speak about battles, we mean the 1.30-2.00 hour long pieces of warfare and a campaign is called the full attack on a region.

So, with this in mind.
The Flying Warthog will continue refuelling as normal. At selected air battles, the Pentagon will double up at t30, t60, t75 and t100 of the air battle for five minutes only each time. This means that if you are in a hurry and just need to dump your food fights, you can fight as you normally do. However, if you can wait until the battle milestone time of t30, t60, t75 or t100 of the battle, you will: (1) take advantage of a better CO; (2) hit together with a few other players; (3) have a higher impact on the battle wall because you will have hit together with other players.

Why are we doing this?
Similar to the Warthog programme, this is not aimed at "buying" damage. The Warthog's main aim is to teach American soldiers to fight in the air. This has worked brilliantly so far and we are one of the best in the eWorld. "While our current damage is not yet concentrated, we will now aim to pressure air battles at key moments to ensure an even bigger influence from the eUSA in air worldwide. For this reason we are introducing these intelligent coordinated strikes via the Pentagon MU - to teach the American soldiers to hit at key milestones, together as a unit and in an organised fashion. The Pentagon MU is there to teach you to get used to hitting together.

At the important battles when we actually need to do it, we will be organising it via Discord and we won't announce the timings in advance. The important bit is that you will have had the training beforehand (via The Pentagon) and will be ready!
