A new chapter to the rapid rise of eUK united from the amateur leagues was written last night as United hosted LofL utd at the ......... Stadium in front of a number of expectant supporters.
Player manager DeVillefort was able to name his strongest line-up including the recent signing from CrashBiskuit - Alfagrem, in their traditional 3-4-3 formation.

The spirits of the home crowd weren't dampend by a cautious opening to the match as both sides toiled for 10 minutes to create any chances. It was left to captain DeVillefort to keep the atmosphere from falling flat as he emerged from a 50/50 challenge with the ball and instantly found Michael Crooks in space.
Advancing into space between the midfield and defence his smart ball picked out Alfagrem on the left-wing whose first touch cross found Maniau in the box. Skipping pat the last defender the clubs top-scorer added another landmark goal to his list and effortlessly swept the ball into the back of the net.

United were however quick to find out that clubs at the top level don't deflate as easily as those they faced before. Almost straight away United found themselves pegged back as LofL midfielder Extron shrugged of the challenge of Juan Bayakra, sent Tom Tipper down the wing and a smart centre to Kaelinring left goalkeeper Jhorlin with no chance from his thunderous strike.

With LofL beginning to establish some dominance in the midfield they too found themselves undone as Alfagrem seized on a loose ball on halfway and going route 1, found Lapl whose calm chip over the opposing keeper edged United back in front.

With minutes remaining till half-time, United failed once again failed to clear their lines and after some desperate defending from Horice and a fine block by Jhorlin it was Extron who once again unlocked the home teams defense as his through ball found danger man Kaelinring who confidently put his team back on level terms.

The half-time break seemed to do little to settle United down as Extron's midfield masterclass saw him stroll past 3 players before Blaggards scything challenge ended not only the immediate threat but also seemed to knock the wind out of LofL's star performer.

With LofL tiring United suddenly came to life and after some smart work by Michael Crookes and Lapl, Alfagrem waltzed into space and fed Maniau who's shot bounced back into play with Alfagrem reacting fastest to tap the ball home.

With victory in sight it was Lapl second goal of the night that sealed the historic win after some more fine work by Alfagrem in midfield leaving united to run out the final minutes in possesion of the ball and the celebrations of the crowd in their ears.
