UKRP PP manifesto

Day 1,908, 12:28 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Seranok

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Reformtroopers and whatnot!

Today I present you with my Party President manifesto to hopefully charm you to such an extent you might vote for me. So, please brace yourselves for a spectacular show! Below I will detail what I plan to do if I am elected.

Media & recruitment

If I was to be elected, I’d put in an article timetable so as to make a mark in the top 5 articles. In the timetable would, of course, include PP updates. To help execute these articles on time and with fantastic quality there would be a media team of around five people who would carry out the jobs of who, when and what the subject is. In one week, at the very least, there would be two-four articles to promote growth within the party. If this keeps up, I would hope for around 115 members by the end of the term. However ridiculous this projection seems to some people, it is a prediction I will stand by and do all I can to carry out at all costs.

People’s council!
What I’ve nicely named the ‘People’s council’ is, as it says, the people’s council. It’s not literally a council. However, it’s a scheme I’d like to get up and running if I am to win. The aim is to get everyone involved and active in the UKRP. This could be hosting exciting and challenging debates for everyone and to get those younger players on the forums and on IRC. This would be an exciting way to connect the UKRP and show how much fun being in this party REALLY is. It’s something I’d like to start in my first few days as the PP. Do you like this idea? I’d like to know what you think and what I can do to improve this idea.

Campaign team
The campaign team, only active in the weeks leading up to the CP elections, will promote our candidate who we are supporting and do their best to promote the popularity of the candidate. This could be in many forms such as making articles, when the campaign team and the media team would work together, UKRP updates around the party which would sway people to vote for our candidate. Not limited to only those two, of course. Ideas welcome as always to improve the party.

Mentorship team

The mentorship team would guide our new players and provide food and hand-outs in articles as well as when they are in need of anything straight away (e.g they could post on the UKRP message board). This team would provide the first stepping stones for these players on their way to becoming a soldier, a politician or a journalist. I will expand on these ideas on a slightly later date.

Congress: Who?

Who should we have in congress? In fact, if we’re still not in the top 5 by the time the congress elections come we’ll be running under a party. Now, when we run under a party I’d like to remind you that we are not running under that specific party because we necessarily agree with their ideals. This is just to run our own candidates to get a few well deserving people into parliament. I’d like to get the new players in as well and possibly an older player to explain everything to these first time congressmen/women. One idea that I have considered is that the younger players could write about their experience in parliament. This could include on-going debates and proposals and what they voted on each proposal. This could be a fantastic way to unite our opinions and beliefs under one banner and show what we can do and who we are on a larger community scale.

Games and fun!

Every once in a while us hard working chaps and chapettes need a break. Of course, we could have a raffle which would include really great prizes. We could also have a pub quiz, chess tournament *cough* followed by a good ol’ debate! If we wanted to do our part for the eUK we could also do planned strikes where you would be able to get supplies on IRC etc. As always, ideas needed and greatly appreciated! If we really dedicated time to having fun, xbox and PS3 tournaments would be fantastic. Oh, and minecraft. We always need minecraft.

Final notes

If you just can’t be bothered to read what I wrote about, then I’ll sum it up for you:

1. If I win, I’ll make the UKRP better.

What I want to achieve
I’ve honestly never done much to help progress the eUK. However, that is why I am running. I want to show everyone who I am and what I can do. I want to help this party grow and show the entire eCountry what we can do and who we are. Of course, this is up to you, the reader, who you vote for. I am voicing my strong interest and I’m going to run for the seat of PP. Support would be appreciated and I really hope you vote for me. Good luck to everyone who is running and I wish them the best of luck. Thank you for reading, Reformtroopers!
