UK Player Support - Advice on Strength
Ministry of Player Support
Strength
It is very important that players build their level (based on XP points), rank (built by actually fighting) and strength (increased by training). Strength is an important multiplier in combat.
As rank increases to new levels, there is a 5% increase in damage. Level determines which division a player fights in but, most importantly, once level 200 is achieved, additional training is free.
All of these factors count when we are called upon to fight for our country. In the case of a real war, we need every last bit of strength.
If you are only increasing at a minimum or medium value daily, you need to access the additional levels of training facilities to improve this. They are expensive and using the higher levels also costs gold.
Some of this can be alleviated by using the daily challenge cash rewards to buy gold and there are also training contracts available monthly to reduce the cost slightly. At level 201, training becomes free but that is a long way off.
The maximum strength increase per day is 92. This is achieved by training. The training grounds tab under “My Places” takes you to the training area. There are four training options.
The first level, which is free, will earn you 5 strength points at Quality 1. After that you need to purchase upgrades to the training facilities to increase the training effect.
It costs a total 170 gold to upgrade each training facility to Quality 4. This is very expensive but should be the ultimate aim of every player. Later on we shall discuss ways of raising gold.
The following Table lists the strength available in each training room at the various levels, the cost of training and the cost of upgrading to higher training Quality levels:
The importance of increasing strength is reflected in the high cost of training and increasing the quality level of each room. However, from time to time there are special offers with discounts on training room upgrades.
These opportunities should be taken up without fail. In the meantime it is important to save gold.
The actual daily cost of training is also significant. However, from Level 201 all daily training is free.
You should also note that you earn 2 XP for each training room that you use in a day. It costs 10 energy to use each room.
Training contracts are available to reduce the daily training costs. For 25 gold, you get a 50% reduction in training costs for 30 days. The daily training cost is normally 2.87 gold. Over 30 days, this amounts to 86.1 gold. With the training contract the total cost for 30 days is 68.05 gold, a saving of 18.05 over the 30 days. The discount is even better if you pay 53 gold and get a 90% reduction in costs. Over 30 days the total cost falls to 61.61, a saving of 24.49 gold.
You will have noticed that I said earlier that the maximum daily strength increase is 92, yet the above table only shows a maximum increase of 90. There is a bonus of 2 strength points awarded to every player who claims 20 activity points in a day.
This applies no matter how many strength points you have increased. It is very easy to earn 20 activity points. Working, basic training, working overtime and buying a product in the marketplace all earn 5 points, so this is enough to claim the strength bonus of 2 per day. I see that several players regularly increase strength by 90 each day without claiming the additional 2. You should not waste such opportunities as everything accumulates over time.
During promotional periods training ground upgrades are reduced so these times are the optimal to upgrade training grounds.
UK Player support can offer some small assistance (20 Gold) to players who currently are not strength training optimally.
Please get in touch at anytime if you would like to receive some assistance to upgrade your training grounds via a personal message or comment below

I think it could be effective to try compiling the link to these resources into a single template for publishing so rather than the same material being churned out over several articles all of the information could be in one place as a reference.
This article contains some shockingly bad advice, If you are in Div1/2 don't listen to any of it - your goal should be to gain as many BH's as possible while in these underpopulated divisions. To maximise the amount of gold you gain you DON'T want to gain exp. Strength is also unimportant in these divisions as you can easily get 1 hit BH's.
Let's say you took the advice of this article, invested your gold into strength training, tried to gain as much exp as possible and got to Div 4 in 100 days. You'd find yourself in Div 4 with less than 10k strength and ~700g out of pocket wondering how you are going to get a BH against people who do 1.5+mill damage per hit.
Do better Ministry of Player Support.
100% - but I expect the wall of text approach means a lot of people may not read the advice
" I expect the wall of text approach means a lot of people may not read the advice"
If the writer suspects people won't read it fully then maybe the structure of the article needs to be amended in to smaller less "wall of text". It is baffling that a person would release an article that would be tl;dr.
I agree, if its intended for new players then it will be better if its bitesize, don't want to give people a technical guide for a game on day 1
By "Ministry of Player Support" I presume you mean Huey George
"In the case of a real war, we need every last bit of strength."
What is a real war? I'm pretty sure "a real war" was something someone made up - possibly on April 1st...
Any new players please ignore this. It is terrible advice try to stay in the lower divs as along as you can.

What ridiculous advice
Yes let’s get everyone to speed run their way to div 4
I believe that strength is important to progress in battle, perhaps one of the players making the comments could produce an article about how to optimise playing to level 200 and then beyond?
I know it took me a long time to get to level 200 and by then and am still now, not very strong
Although farming BH in the lower divisions is necessary, having more experienced players is always better.
In a real war D4 and Air it’s the main focus, being higher level and progressing your protector level it’s going to be crucial.
I get the argument against gaining levels as fast as you can but I think in the long term it’s going to be more beneficial.
Keep in mind that I did invest all my BH gold from D1 to upgrade all my training camps, I buy 90% contract every time, complete the daily’s every time and use around 80 fuel a week… and I’m still progressing slow.
I think the best advice is to outline both approaches and emphasise to players they can choose what suits them and their play style, the bigger picture being that people should play the game however they enjoy it without worrying about what is right or wrong 🙂
Thank you for sharing your thoughts TopBoy Mitko o/
I absolutely support your approach to your first 100 days. It's something to be proud of. It's also great to hear from a newer player on this subject.
This advice is intended for all players who have not optimised their strength growth a day, newer or who have been here for a longer time or a very long time! It’s vital for all players who can progress their strength, military rank and aircraft rank for the overall military power of the UK.
Of course there will be challenges to this approach and there are alternative strategies for those in Div 1 to Div 3, and even in Div 4, you can choose to focus solely on aircraft rank growth rather than a hybrid approach (although all investment in strength is returned and more through Super Solider medals so why not earn them as fast as you can \o/)
However some of our older players placing comments / advice to new players should be looking to actively encourage all players new and old rather than trying to dishearten them. All our new players should not required to remain “low strength” and “optimise/farm individual gold gain”
All players should be respected to make their own playstyle decisions and try to adapt a variety of play strategies.
Overall in the longer term the UK can only benefit with all our players optimising strength and rank growth so this advice is to be strongly considered. At the very least all players should be taking an active view on their account development!
Indeed - and in the spirit of actively encouraging players and their play style we do need to ensure guides emphasise optionality and don't come off as prescriptive. If we want a more welcoming and encouraging country for new players you as CP may have to challenge some of your coalition who, amongst other things, baa at people, add up levels of players in an effort to tell them they don't contribute, and fling around generalised abuse. So in addition to tailoring guides to all players (which I am more than happy to assist with) I think the presidency could more actively assert the standards of conviviality and conduct amongst the wider community rather than just at those asking questions via PMQs etc. O7
Ah, yes, Woldy. Let me see. You joined on 13 February 2009 and as of today have amassed the staggering total of 202,797 XP, an average of 37.16 XP per day. That amounts to two-clicking. You presume to lecture us on what we should or shouldn't be saying or doing but where we you when we were last wiped? Too busy pontificating to dirty your hands defending the country. You and your toadies gang troll anyone who speaks up against you. Unlike some, I am not afraid to call you out. You have no say in who Huey puts in his government or how his coalition should behave. It is in response to your actions that the coalition was formed in the first place. If you want to control the government, get elected to power and choose your own government. However, the way you preach and moan means that you and your lot will never get elected, as you frighten everyone else off.
I bet this gets the old dears jaws swinging down age concern
All that experience and you couldn't find the right reply button
You’ve been playing 15 years and are only level 548. That’s an average of 36 levels a year.
I’ve been playing 9 years and am level 235 at an average of 26 levels a year.
We’re not that far off. So I feel fully qualified in saying:
Shut up
