Thoughts on stuff...

I couldn't decide what to write about this week...so I'm just going to touch on some of the stuff in the media lately.

In the order in which I thought about them:

Artela is President.



That's cool, I like Artela. She was good last time, she'll be good this time. With the weird stuff going on in the world, someone who knows what's up and has a steady hand is exactly what we need. Her cabinet is competent, and I really don't feel like there is much more to say here.

Ajay isn't President.



This is pretty much the opposite of the last section. Ajay lost, this is hilarious, I look forward to his future losses.

This whole AIM thing



Unless you're one of the senior people in an MU that's part of it, why do you care? They're going to do what they're going to do. Either they want to talk to the President about stuff so they don't drop their once-per-month-ish war game damage somewhere that will cause problems or they won't. No use crying over spilt milk.

Lots of potential for good here, lots of potential for derpitude. I'm especially excited about seeing how their internal dynamics play out. I've seen more than once where someone said each CO got a 'vote' regarding where/when they do their damage and whatnot...which will prove interesting, cause they have six units that all kinda-sorta report to the same person, which could make for some fireworks. I love fireworks.

Personally, I'm not really bovvered.

Party President elections

Those are the next elections up, and so far a few people have decided to dip their toes in the water, but only BigC has jumped in. His article is here.

Personally, BigC and I don't get along, but he'd make a solid PP, he'll at least be something different. The Feds have had a spate of more mother type figures holding their hands and whatnot, being all nice and crap. BigC will shake some stuff up, and a boot to the ass never killed anyone. So, now I've publicly said he wouldn't suck, he's destined to lose. Mwahahahaha


BigC likes to scream at himself in the mirror. I don't know why.

In USWP, Othere is all but assured the next term as PP, due to his mechanical position as second on the ballot...cause there are about 100 serbs between him and the next American. This is a good thing though, cause it forces him to be PP and he needs to be. Dude does solid work, he just needs to be more confident to make that leap to the next level. You can handle it, Othere, so get to work.

We the People...I have no idea what's gonna happen there. Mazzy said she isn't running, so that leaves it fairly wide open. I expect someone like Talo or Hale will run. Maybe we'll see the return of the Ack Whale, no way to know.

AMP. Yea...............no clue. I'd love to see someone like M2G make a comeback, but I doubt it. We'll see what happens.
