Money in your account does not magically help people or pay for Training ground upgrades or buy supplies or help increase the fun people have in this game.
It does not fight wars on it own. It does not help players expand their footprint in this game.
If we pat ourselves on the back because we have 1 million in cash . We might as well congratulate people on their inactivity as well or bring out medals for ghost voters.
There is just something inherently wrong with a big pile of money you plan doing nothing at all in your term with.
We had 380k when I started mostly myself contributed another 100 k bringing it to 480k. Then later Nogin returned 420 k and more donations brings this amount to almost 1 million. In machiavelli's term absolutely nothing besides MPP's was done with it?
Its not really a convincing co safeguard. I can tell you for example that the Mayo battle ran upwards of 300 k the last one probably cost the then IA around 200 k.These were not heavily attacked battles really. So yet again I am questioning a government . What plans do they have for this money? Supplying troops would atleast have been a meaningful use for it. And people please understand the mechanics correctly:
1. When we supply big tanks we are merely lightening their load a little bit. They still have to buy eb's and tanks etc etc. Packs etc.
2. When a government supply an army their merely lightening the load of the private individuals who are supplying troops.
i proposed near the end of my term that government came in as partner on a new Holding Company. Financing a part of it and then receiving their money eventually back with a royal scoop on top of that. We have an expression in my home language "om aan iets langtand te kou" to chew something with a long tooth. Basically a lukewarm reaction to a proposal. So that never transpired due in part to Rusty then having planted his friends all through congress and thereby establishing and undemocratic congress.
All I will propose is that government atleast discuss financial plans with players so as to stop money laying around uselessly. Else it will probably be of great use to a thief in the future 😃

While you describe it as lying around, some of us would consider it a "rainy day fund" thatt is there in time of need, while its not needed it will grow due to investment in the MM (maybe not at the rate in the past, but it will still grow).
In peacetime there is no need to supply people, they get a daily wage and coupled with whatever self production they are able to achieve, should have enough resources to get by each day,. however in time of war then i'm sure the MoD will supply any/all qualifying citizens/MU's fighting for Ireland.
As for "Irish Tanks" in general these should be able to self supply most of there needs and like days of old in wartime if additional fire power is needed then you hire Mercenaries (with the money you claim is lying around doing nothing), Ireland's tanks have always been loyal to it and fought without payment like any good patriot would be expected to.

and neither of an irishmen i know how cheapskates operate. some ppl you can say before you talk with them how much you will get out of them. but this is a game there is no real reason to be a tightwad and your rainy day might be collected by a player called rainy day sunday your entitled to your opinion nogin just as long as you understand its your own opinion and not an opinion that belongs in the game anymore..
You've your opinion i've mine which is fine, thats free speech & democracy at work.
It may get stolen, it may not, either way its not a reason to give it to you or other MU's when there is the possibility to make better use of it in the future.
The game like life is a gamble and you need some faith in people if your going to succeed in anything.
so in your opinion keeping it for some unforeseen occurrence is a better use of it. than supplying actual soldiers.
there is the real life story of a actual man who joined a club thats motto was that by saving money and then buying say a car your actually better off. save versus spend/financing. so this man saved and saved over years and finally after 3 or 4 years he had enough money and bought his car and that night he went out to celebrate and his car was stolen and he lost his car and all his money that he saved because this club also did not belief in insurance. this is basically what your camp has been selling for years. nogin will you have the personal conviction and guarantee that money for us. because each time your golden nest-egg YOU promote IS STOLEN you just shrug your shoulders so are you guaranteeing it else i dont care about your opinion. we never get to the better use of it because someone always lift it.
You spent 300k on Mayo, a battle that didnt need any money spent on it.
I spent 42k in helping Australia defend against an Israeli and friends AS against them,
You wanted the government to spend upwwards of 100k a month on supporting your MU but none other.
You want the government to spend money on allowing you to grow your businesses, yet many times in the past you have tried to hold the country to ransom....
P.S. your not the only one who has donated money to the government... but those people dont need to write 'look at me articles'
