You all know where I stand regarding the treaty with our neighbours to the west. I'm not saying that we should throw it out the window and wage war and face a certain wipe off the map. What I am saying is that now is the time to start looking for an alternative. You all saw what happened when Brazil demanded the return of treaty regions. It was poorly planned and the execution was even worse. There are other alternatives out there, other allies, I say it's time for a change.
With these words I would like to announce my candidacy to become your Country President. I have chosen a familiar face as my VP, Grimstone, he made me a truly happy man by accepting. He will also be there to balance my sometimes hot headed manners.

Apart from the announcement of your VP, the rest of what you are saying doesn't come as much of a surprise and it has always intrigued me. But will your entire focus be simply on the Brazil treaty or will you set out some other goals too before it comes to election time.
As you said, we all know where you stand with regards to the treaty, but we don't know where you stand with just about everything else.
