The Presidential Election - A Ballot Breakdown.

Day 1,749, 12:12 Published in Canada Canada by Muglack

I decided to do the country a favor and do a quick rundown of everyone who's running so you'll be more informed as voters, and be able to make a better decision on election day.

You're welcome.

TyraelSnow - Egotistical @$$hat. Would do a good job for 3 days, then either lose interest or go off the deep end. I probably would of voted for this guy over Aeriala, but to be honest, it would of been a hard decision.

ElPatoDiablo - No one knows him, so no one is gonna vote for him. You probably shouldn't bother either. If you're one of his supporters your vote is probably better used on your second choice because they have a better shot of winning, regardless of who it is. Unless it's IronToader, because if ElPatoDiablo is your first choice, and Toader is your second, you should probably do everyone a favor and not vote at all.

WallyCleaver - The first time he was elected he was active for a handful of days and then disappeared. I'm guessing that wouldn't happen this time, but it probably wouldn't matter. WallyCleaver is the "Status Quo" candidate this election. A vote for him, is a vote for the same thing eCanada's done for the past 6 months. He's not on a crusade to change things, and he won't try and sell you the world to win the election either.

Max Maher - The dark horse candidate. Max Maher probably doesn't think he can win, or even get a significant number of votes, which I think is too bad. Max's track record in this country is almost as colorful and illustrious as my own, in a G-rated, don't rock the boat kind of way. He's the "I want a brighter future" candidate. If you're optimistic about the future of the country, and are willing to roll the dice on a President that might do something to slow the decline Max Maher's your man.

IronToader - There's really not much I can say about IronToader. Basically you can re-read the ElPatoDiablo breakdown, and instead of the part where I said no one knows him, replace that with everyone knows him. Also, instead of not doing anything, he's done tons of stuff, except none of it's been good.

Overview.

Personally this election comes down to two candidates. WallyCleaver and Max Maher, and the differences are clear. Wally's a vote for status quo, and Max is a vote for a chance at incremental change that might take us in a new and interesting direction that we can build on in months to come.

The choice is yours, but if you're voting for someone other than one of these two candidates, you're probably doing the country a disservice.
