The New Party
The Irish William Wallace
So the Dutch Labour Party (formerly Dutch Socialist Party) has failed. The Radical Left has failed in eNetherlands, for better or worse. What can the Left do, where can we turn? I would give my sincere advocacy to join The People's Party! They will certainly be the Left that will be seen in congress and in our government. We need representation.
Now may I present you with a different option. If you still bleed red, if you still wish to be a part of the most radical political party in eNederlands, than may I present to you The Banist Party!
Communist? No.
Socialist? No.
Banist!
What is Banism?
Banism (Bane-ism) is not just a political ideology, it is a philosophy. There is only so much you can do in eRepublik, so little to work with, so little diversity. Banism offers diversity.
- Social equality. Race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, 'class', occupation, it is irrelevant to a Banist!
- Political freedom. We are all free to pursue any government office we possess the means to. No matter your level (though limited by game mechanics) you should be allowed a voice in your party. All players are equal under the veil of ignorance! (Rawls fans give a hoo-rah!)
- Community. No e-nation is worth living in unless it has a strong community! Active recruitment, helpful guides for new players, supplies, jobs, a strong forum! Those are the ingredients to an active healthy e-society! The Banist values this above most other aspects of this game! Nations get wiped, but communities last forever!
The Banist has the will to either lead or follow. If you can do neither than you are simply a two-clicker!
The Banist loves the great dissenters because they are the ones who wish better! They are the ones who will push us to greater heights!
The Banist knows that he will only exist in-game as a pixel for perhaps a few years, but he is willing to use those pixels to create beyond his pixels!
In conclusion, I suggest to any Leftist to join The People's Party, but if you seek the radical than go to the creator. Come check out and join The Banist Party!
Your's truly,
MikeBane

that's just weird mate 😛
No, not so strange. betrayal in order to settle for safe happens all the time.
best of luck mikebane. never settle for less than a real eLeft coalition.
would join if i were edutch. voted
Oh goody, second time already?
communism is dead, live with it mate
"communism is dead, live with it mate" x2
"Communist? No."
Read the article, MATE
urgh, always with the disrespect for two-clickers. If we had the same amount of two-clickers the Poles have, we wouldn't be occupied
lol thank you for that input tijl ulenspiegel
>First Socialist party fails
>Second Socialist party fails
>Makes the third one
I did, sounds as left wing socialist as usual, which setself up for failure. Especially when its authoritarian
Why do ppl enjoy bringing down the idealists minorities? Maybe because themselves have no courage to fight for an ideal? Much easy to follow the mainstream, it avoids not be taken serious and be called a loser or weird. Losers are all those who don't follow their dreams. In any political stream, only whom thinks differtent can bring changes. Everybody praises equality, freedom, respect, but without having done nothing good or bad you have already a preconception on this party. Respect MikeBane
I agree with Tijl. I'm most of the time a two-clicker. eRepublik is not my life...if I don't have time to be more participative but I can follow, why not? I just used all my 32 zookas and 4 rockets against Poland....how many actieve players keep it stored?
Wow Mike i didn't knew you started an ideology in erep 😛 http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Banism
good luck!
'The Banist Party (TBP) believes in the core tenants of Neo-Banism'
How can there be Neo-Banism if the concept is not even a week old? In holland we call that over je schaduw heen springen and your'e very good at it.
@che nom nom: That means a lot, thanks! Exactly, some people are just two-clickers and they are part of the 'herd' but a herd needs a good shepherd! That is what we believe, that is the only "authoritarian" aspect of the party is that we believe in leaders but that doesn't mean we don't believe in democracy.
@Mc Claren: Banism was an ideology over a year ago, since game mechanics have changed it has become Neo-Banism. Please refrain from judgement until being knowledgeable about the subject.
Good luck!
Great Mike, Keep the articles coming ^ _ ~
I would join if I were eDutch!
(Also looks like the ILP has an attractive Banist Vice-President)
🙂 Good for you Gerald! Tell the guys at the ILP to keep up the good work! The ILP has been my greatest success.
lol wut?
I think this is communism but they call it different.
Looks not good for me..
@ MikeBane
talking about knowledge your'e party is communist don't deny that, it just has a new name. The logo has changed a bit the ideology is the same on your wiki page you say spending should go to the military. Where else? 'maintaining worker efficiency' how? If people aren't working you sending them to Siberia? lol
btw. you were 100% right about the neo banism thing and i wish you best of luck regardless your political preference i just don't like commies nothing personal.
@ Mc Claren: I appreciate your last paragraph. Neo-Banism is different from Banism because back then game mechanics worked differently and we emphasized national military spending, health care, and work efficiency. I will explain Neo-Banism in another article. We are not communist, we are Banist which is an off-shoot of eSocialism which, like in RL, different from Communism/eCommunism.
Thanks for your explanation but you are confusing me with the communist symbols: red flags,Lenin statue and hammer and sicle could you explain why you decided to use them?
I use the imagery because there are not many useful left-wing/socialist/banist images to use on google and using photos make articles more appealing. It isn't necessarily the content of the photo that is emphasized, but the general idea. Using the Lenin statue (with red-black flags, anarcho-syndicalism) isn't about praising Lenin or (god forbid) the USSR but emphasizing a 'socialist' ideal.
But the main reason is because there is a lack of Leftist photos.
Nice article. Would have liked to see one of these for MoC...
btw who is this demidov guy? i remember him from older articles of you
