Join the new world

Tomorrow, on Tuesday 15th May, the Party President Elections will take place. With this article I intend to raise my candidacy for this position and my vision for the party.

First, I want to thank Cubby for his service as Party President for the past many months. Unfortunately, it is not wrong to say that the party has been fairly inactive in the past few years, but a similar fate has befallen the country too (probably to a lesser extent). With the current occupation of the country's original regions, however, we are starting to see a slow but steady awakening among our citizen. I would very much like to see a similar awakening to take place within WTP and for that reason I am putting my name forward for Party President.

I will spend a paragraph on my person. I have been member of WTP for as long as I can remember and a congressman for the majority of this time. I love the military module and this is where I have been most engaged. In the past few years I have had a very passive role in both government and party, but in the past few months I started to engage myself more and more with the game again. The game today is obviously and definitely very different to what it used to be 8 years ago when I was really even addicted to it and what has kept me going in the past few years was the chance that the European nations might eventually try again to conquer our American sub-continent. Today you can see me shouting on the country wall with the most current battle priorities, along the others in the Defence Department.

Last month Oblige messaged all party members with an important question. The discussion after that was very positive and it was great to get such an engagement from many party members. So thank to you to Oblige for organising and for all members who took part. The outcome is that, as I mentioned above, we want to increase activity within the party. This will not happen overnight, as we`ve been dormant for too long. However, the party wall is a great way to engage with all party members without unnecessarily spamming those of you who like the tranquillity of an empty inbox. Therefore, we can start with simple food give-aways and hitting together in air battles. I think it will be good enough to get us started 🙂
