The ILP - Do You Understand Them?

Day 1,827, 14:46 Published in Ireland Ireland by MrConway

I would just like to share this message with everyone.

"Fellow Citizens of Ireland,

On the 25th November, you have an important decision to make on the direction of Ireland. The change over this past month has been dramatic: for the first time in what seems like forever, we have unity in our country and consensus in our leadership. We want to continue this trend, strengthening the coalition in Congress so that eIreland can regain its momentum and remain secure from both foreign and domestic threats.

Our unity government has had its problems, especially when Saoirse didn't want to compromise and share power. However, with the gracious partnership of IFP, the ILP succeeded in forming a majority in congress and winning the CP election. Since then, political discourse in eIreland has changed for the better, whilst we make significant steps in refilling the treasury. At the same time, we took the couragous decision to stand up for the Netherlands in its ongoing campaign against the pink Polish blob.

This election is important so that we continue to build on the progress of the last term. That means no dodgy citizenship requests accepted, no rogue proposals in congress and active congress people.

What stands in our way is a Saorise majority in congress. So whilst we respect that you're not in the ILP, I hope you'll know from our past that we are an inclusive party that gives a voice to all eIrish, whether you wave a red flag, or a green-white-orange flag.

That's why I hope you'll vote ILP on 25th November.

I hope to see you at the ballot box!"

Did you enjoy it? I did. Now down to a quick analysis.

New player tells us that it feels like forever since we've had unity, but we don't really have unity. Most of the opposition has given up arguing against lets call it.... stupidity and those unable to grasp game mechanics.

Whats also brilliant is that we are told they wish to strengthen the coalition of congress, but proceeds to state Saoirse stands in the way, how exactly is Saoirse preventing the congress from becoming stronger and hard working?

Unity government had problem when Saoirse didn't want to share power? The only difference in this whole situation originally was that Ethel Rosenburg was the only different minister really. I personally exposed this current administration as power hungry and hypocrites in this article.

"However, with the gracious partnership of IFP, the ILP succeeded in forming a majority in congress and winning the CP election."

Failure to understand game mechanics here. Partnership? Government was established on unity, not a partnership I thought?

Irish politics has also changed for the better we are then told? How exactly is it better now than before? As a TD I have seen no difference in what is going on as from any other administration. Politics has changed for the better but less Saoirse is needed also.... apparently...?

Now also standing up for our ally Netherlands is a great achievement. We have always stood up for our allies. We always will, and what has the ILP got to do with this at all? Nothing.

We must build on the progress of last term? What progress did we make? What progress did the ILP make actually? Enlighten me please.

"What stands in our way is a Saorise majority in congress."

This is my favourite line of the lot. What is wrong with Saoirse? What happened to strengthening the congress coalition. To be honest your whole message is mixed up and wrong.

Another final pointer is that the ILP claims to own our government. Yet I was told that this government was set up without party influence and it was established on the basis of unity to improve Ireland.

Open your eyes. Open your mouths and speak out!
