In summary a Cooperative in eRepublik is a body of producers who work their companies, sell their products on the market, elect a treasurer from among themselves, use the treasurer as a holding place for whatever funds they want to be redistributed, and then collectively vote on who receives the funds. The treasurer should be a trusted member of the group and will need to operate a ledger on google docs tracking all incoming and out going funds. The funds are used by the producers to buy more companies - to in turn make more money on the market and so the cycle goes.
We used group messages in game for voting and elections.
