We meet destruction,
The greatest battle of eRepublik history has begun hundreds will be defeated before the day is over. I would like to talk about the importance of this battle and the effects of this battle.



WHY?

Well lets look at Aquitaine in both real and eRepublik life.

In real life:



Aquitain is a costal region located on the Atlantic, It is comprised of three regions; Gironde, Landes, Pyrenees, Dor Dogne and Lot et Garonne.

Consisting of mainly sparkly populated farmland it is best known as the breeding ground for revolution where in the mid to late 1900's the Basque country erupted with the well renown group ETA



ETA were famous for they're terrorist attacks on Paris and Spain where what they would say is a, "civil war," would rage right up until late 2006. Aside from this Aquitaine is famous for it's beautiful golden beaches and being the training ground for Special Forces parachutists from around the world who visit the Pyrenees to make use of the parachute schools there.

In eRepublik:


Oh yes, all US citizens have heard of Aquitaine famous for it's ongoing civil wars and for being the frontline for the battle between Eden and Terra. However despite this eAquitaine is not all that different from real life; It is home o a huge insurgency war, it is needed because of it's agricultural resource - rubber and is again a very sparkly populated region.

Now however it is in the middle of what could be the most intense war of eUS history. Currently Poland are winning threatening our precious "100/100" bonus, yet more and more military units are moving in.

Politicians fear it is only a matter of time before the battle is lost, yet hope is on the horizon from an unexpected source. Yes - eUSA's Mercenary Legion have turned from their usual trends to give everything for the greater good. Experts in defending territory and fighting all types of countries they include eSerbs, eMexicans, eRussians and eChinese. It is hoped they will use there experience and excellent equipment from q6 supplies to beat back the opals where they stand!
