I’ve recently held a bit of a media silence lately, and held back from both IRC and eRepublik because of certain disagreements and arguments but after noticing this recent article, I am compelled to break my silence and write.

About the Iran/Pakistan War Debacle

Around one week into my presidency, the admins introduced the airstrike feature into eRepublik, which meant that, at a certain cost, it would be possible for countries to attack each other at a certain cost, without having a land order. This posed some exciting and interesting possibilities for Pakistan. One such instance was the possibility of a Pakistan-India training war. I briefly talked about it with the Indian CP at the time, Asmitatheone, and her initial response was positive, although no agreement was made, we both needed to talk to people in our countries.

Less than an hour after that, Iran, NE’d us.. And the rest is history. To say that I planned a “training war” with Iran when even your propaganda screenshot doesn’t have me accepting a training war with Iran is downright ridiculous and stupid.

Where you messed up in your propaganda tale:

1. Saying that I arranged a training war. If anyone saw the hits by either side on the day Balochistan got taken over by the Iranians, it was quite obvious that it was no such thing. Even Romper hit hard for them, and seeing the Iranians hit, it was quite obvious that they’d planned to take Balochistan all along. The Iranians had offered us a similar “training war” to the one which you implied when I was MoFA under Cluster Storms, and newsflash, I denied it.

2. According to Scorpion’s King article, I gave Balochistan to Iran to became a hero when we freed it as part of a deal. Why would we need foreign help, or for that matter, any help to free Balochistan if it was part of a deal to promote me to stardom? Your logic makes no sense.


3. My account’s current status, regarding your insights into my gold buying history:



To those of you who don’t know, Loyalty Points are rewarded for buying gold with RL money.

A large proportion of my gold was spent on buying mercenaries to hit in the off time for the USA so we could win a few rounds to help us with the points tally later on in the US-peak time in the RW.


Tl;dr: Propaganda is cool, and discrediting opponents like you are doing is Okay but it serves no purpose when the other party isn’t even competing anymore. Enjoy your community but building yourself by shitting on other people and rising up because of that is no solid foundation.
