A lot of people have been saying that this mission is unfair as it is unachievable for those who haven't been playing the game for a long time.
What people haven't realised is that this mission can actually be a cheap way of purchasing EB's along with 4 free Big Bombs.
The following table shows the cost of attaining a CH medal with my current stats (I have been playing 1 1/2 years and have nearly always used all four training centres at Q4) supposing all bombs from other missions are used and the CH goes for about 100mil. It also takes into account all EB's are purchased in 10's and that q7 tanks are going for 7.6cc and 1G is 220cc on the MM.
This demonstrates that you can either use all your items and spend ~494 Gold in order to get 4 Big Bombs and 100 EB's. OR you can spend 199 Gold and keep all your items while still adding 100 EB's and 4 Big Bombs to your stockpile of weapons with a saving of 191 Gold had you bought the EB's from the store.
Some people will want to go for the CH for the bragging rights, and by all means do. But for those incapable of getting a CH while the big hitters are going for them and if you buy lots of EB's then bare these stats in mind before the end of day 1988 when this opportunity will be gone.

Your profit would still be in the negatives if you completed the mission. But you would have to spend half the amount.
buying the mission is the best way to go monetry wise as this will be the only way to end up with more items than you had before the mission.
It depends on your strength. I made my own calculations. With 199G I can get 140 energy bar (with 2X energy bar promo), and I can only reach 120 mill damage (max). That include all bonuses i get on previous mission & war stash. I don't think it's enough for me to get CH 🙁

And what about +5 Gold for CH medal?

That mission is simply impossible for me, I may get a CH award in maybe 7 years time. and 7 years too late. It's obvious this is only about them wanting more money. Maybe they would get twice as rich if they fixed the game and therefore attract and keep 10 times as many players.
The mission will come again, have no fear 🙂
At least it is plausable for you to complete 3/4 of this mission by getting a BH. I am in Div 4, and don't spend money (or at least very little) in game, and so I don't have a hope really of getting a BH. The average damage being done in battles now is over 40million points. I can do 3.5million using 1300 energy, so by that calculation I would have to use over 150 energy bars just to get a BH medal.
I'm happy to just not do the mission.
