So What, Brazil Is Stupid?
Auk Rest
Brazil has long since held onto High Diamonds (to become titanium) in Gauteng, that's nothing new. A few months ago, Brazil lost this to South African resistance war. Then the worst happened. South Africa was PTOd and sacrificied to Brazil and Argentina. Now, look at Brazil. Landlocked in their original country. How did this happen? Well let's see.
First of all, Northern Cape was liberated from Argentina. No big deal, South Africa has one region back. And then they won Western Cape. Uh oh, another territory, plus the way to South America is blocked. And then Australia invades Argentina South Africa territory and Brazil takes over that territory. Then resistance wars are initiated, one by one.
Brazil did not devote any effort at all to ward off these resistance wars, though their were no other important battles at the time
Then South Africa bordered Brazil's awesome titanium colony in Gauteng. Brazil didn't think South Africa was a threat, and though the wall fell initially, Brazil laughed at the Africans and pushed it back up and then stared as EDEN pushed the wall down and they lost not one, but both of their remaining South African territories. Now the only foreign occupier of South Africa is Argentina. If South Africa and EDEN defeated a country of 22,000+ population plus PHOENIX mobile corp, then why not they can defeat a country of ~7000 plus PHOENIX mobile corp?

They actualy started some of the RWs...
As EDEN Military Commander I approve of this message. 🙂
Though what SaraD said is true, not sure why they did though - to my knowledge, it was to block off Australia, whom was already blocked off by Indo holding Western Australia.
Actually, when there were just a few territories in between Brazil and South Africa, I looked into whether or not Brazil was starting these, since it seemed pretty fishy. I figured some of them were started by Brazilians, but not sure why.
So that they can PTO South Africa again with their 1-day old multis.
Actually, the PTO that destroyed the country was done by the nefarious "channers", though yes, the channers were in the loop with Brazil once they were in the game. EDEN will be very careful to not let S. Africa get PTOd again.
My understanding was that Brazil intended to rid themselves of non-value South African territories, and focus strictly on Gauteng. That's why even after Indonesia blocked out Australia, they let those other regions go. Not a bad idea, recent experience in Spain shows that trying to manage multiple resistance wars in occupied territories can prove more trouble than it's worth.
Brazil came to fight, and they managed it well, but based on a quick browse of the battle stats, I'd say they were not well supported by their allies. Although contributions from the powers like Hungary, Serbia, Russia, and Indonesia are there, just look at how much damage was wasted in the Chagang training war. Now granted, not every player is going to travel to a battlefield, but this was a sub-par effort on Phoenix's part. Brazil was pretty much let down by their allies on this one.

@Auk Rest, I wouldn't be too sure. Brazil will probably go crazy trying to PTO SA, and America is suffering a slow PTO itself so they won't be able to send as much help as before...
@AR1ARX Yeah, their allies didn't do too well on Gauteng, though it is partly Brazil's fault for letting South Africa get to Gauteng in the first place. They should have never let resistance wars on Gauteng bordering states through, though, because South Africa already did a war declaration by then.
