Second fatal accident in motor sports this week

After the death of Indy-GP rider Wheldon, today at the MotoGP of Malaysia Marco Simoncelli lost his life in a horrible crash.

Simoncelli was world champion in the 250cc-class in 2008. After finishing eight last year in the MotoGP, he now stood on sixth place in the overall table.

After getting too low in a corner, he crashed and shortly after that another rider hit him at a very high speed. Simoncelli lost his helmet and was probably immeddiatly deceased. The GP of Malaysia was firstly suspended, then stopped.

Marco Simoncelli was 24 years old.
