Hello,

I Run And I Run...

To catch up with the sun, but it's sinking. Racing around to come up behind me again. The sun is the same in a relative way but I'm older. Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

Interesting lyrics but you have no idea how close the truth is for me. Short version is that this month I've spent 2 weeks in hospital, a week for two trips. I've discovered that I had diabetes for quite awhile which caused congestive heart failure and hypertensive cardiomyopathy (fancy high blood pressure that causes diastolic or systolic dysfunction in patients with persistent systemic hypertension).

Apparently I was in a bad way when my friend took me to emergency. They put 5 stints in me to restore blood flow to my heat and 8 meds to keep it going. Get to inject insulin twice a day too!

Better now physically but remains to be seen if I can survive the financial BS.

Anyhow, I'm Running For Congress

59 in June, so yeah, a bit premature. Hoping to live long enough to collect Social Security and experience this magical Medicare they tell me about. So far all these "safety nets" they talk about in the news ain't helping. Hence the decade or so with no real medical care.

ewe! now that sucks.not in any kind of good way. not handing out lollipops after all here.
