Today I want to pay tribute to one of the greatest Norwegians there ever was. Im very proud to of called him a friend. I wanted to put off doing this in the hopes Yanisin would come back to us but a long while has gone by and sadly it doesn't appear he will. I recently got some info on Yanisin in RL by one of his dearest friends in eRepublik and I used this information to search for him over the past week however my search came back with no results sadly.

We will probably never know why he left but that doesn't mean we cannot come together to pay tribute and remember the Legend that was Yanisin. Within our community Yanisin was known as a very kind and generous person. He spent hundreds of thousands of his personal funds to hand out food and weapons to Norwegians, especially those in the lower Divisions.

One time as well Yanisin and I personally donated tens of thousands to the resistance efforts in Cuba during their war. It was these acts of kindness that he will always be remembered for and why he was loved by so many.

If you had the opportunity to know him you'll know that he was very kind and had such an infectious and bright personality. He made friends all over the world, many of whom he brought to our community. The fact that he was able to take a small party and make it the #1 party in the country is credit to his personality and personal brand of politics.

He always wanted only what was best for Norway. He always put Norway above all else.

And then there was his obsession with frogs...I must be honest I have absolutely no clue why he had such a love of frogs or where that inspiration came from but when he founded his new party Norway became over run with frogs.

One thing Yanisin loved more than life itself at times it seems was music. Yanisin always believed that music was a cure for a bad day. He always felt so attached to song lyrics. Almost daily Yanisin and I were sending our favourite songs back and forth to each other.

I believe that the best way to honour our friend is to share our memories of him and to share a song for Yanisin. I managed to get Yanisin hooked on a band called The Green Children. So for you my friend I share this.

The Green Children - Dreamers

Please feel free to share your memories and music for Yanisin.

I also want to share one of Yanisin's greatest personal accomplishments and one I knew he was very proud of. He wrote a very impassioned article which I know he worked on for a while. The result was an article that received high praise, high votes, comments and endorsements but most of all it received a Gold Endorsement from Plato himself. You can read and view his article by clicking here.

Yanisin Legacy Award

Yanisin's eBirthday is coming up on January 31st and as apart of his Birthday I am working to create the Yanisin Legacy Award which will be an award given to handed out every January 31st to one lucky recipient. The details of the award will be made public on the 31st.

May the Gods watch over you wherever you are. Until we meet again.

Your Friends Always,

J.M*
