Re-Elect Dan Moir for TUP Party President

Day 903, 14:10 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by ePocalypse

So, I’m running for re-election for Party President of TUP.

It’s been a good month. TUP have returned another good result in congress elections with 17 elected congressmen from a total of 40. This was despite a highly organised campaign from UKRP. Our former PP & Prime Ministerial candidate jamesw also won the elections by a huge margin. This is not, however, a time for complacency. We must continue to push to achieve our goals and maintain our position at the top eUK politics, serving the majority.

In addition to these great results, we have also had the launch of The Unity Food Programme as outlined as a plan in my PP manifesto last term. This is a scheme where lower level, poorer players are able to apply for reduced price Q3 food. This food is made at no profit by our dedicated workforce who work for reduced salaries to keep costs down. If you’d like to help with this then please join up and work with TUfP. This scheme was mainly funded by the generous congressmen of TUP along with a few other members and their kind donations. We have received great comments from members of other parties and even have non TUP members working within the company helping us to help the poor. Thanks to everyone who has contributed in any way. If re-elected, I’ll be doing all I can to keep this scheme going so that it can benefit as many people as possible.

We’ve maintained a good media presence during the month and membership numbers have remained fairly constant. Obviously I’d like to increase our membership and given the chance, will continue to try to improve it during the coming month without resorting to dirty tactics or direct recruitment from other parties. Media presence is always important and I’ll be trying to keep that as high as possible.

In TUP we’ve always tended to work as one big team which I’d like to see continue. This month though, I’d also like to look at giving some staff roles out to some of our more active members. This will enable them to have a specific area to focus on and will enable me to concentrate on organisation and some of the more important areas. Announcement on job roles will be made in the TUP forum. Of course those without official job roles will be encouraged to contribute as usual and will continue to be valued highly.

The position of Vice Party President is an important role. They will work closely with myself and be able to help out in all areas from writing articles to organising campaigns, acting as party whip, organising debates and so on.

This role is ideal for one of our promising members, so that they can get the valuable experience of being more involved in the day to day running of the party.

This term I’m pleased to announce that Kevy Shabado will be Vice President of TUP should I be re-elected. Kevy is relatively new to us on the forums having only started to get more involved last month. He’s already a congressman and he works for the Ministry of ??? Profit. He’s a good contributor and is very knowledgeable and dedicated. This is further proof if any was needed that opportunities are available in TUP even if you’ve only just signed up recently in our forums.

TUP will continue to consult our members on important issues as well as holding party conferences in the run up to CP elections as usual. If you’re not involved on the forums then please consider it, as it’s the only place you can fully contribute.

Every party claims to be friendly and to offer opportunities and encouragement. The truth of the matter is that every party could do with more active and hard working members. TUP is no different. Don’t listen to the people who say that opportunities are only available in smaller parties. It’s simply not the case. You’re actually more likely to get these opportunities as a part of a successful party like TUP.

I’ve kept this manifesto fairly short as you’ve all hopefully had chance to judge me on last months performance. If you can give me your vote for PP once more I would be most grateful. This will be my last term running for PP for a while as next month I intend to step aside and hand over the reins to someone else (and watch the World Cup). Thanks for taking the time to read this.
