Hi everyone,

I've been informed that Fredrik Johansson, better known to eRepublikians as Fredrok, had passed away recently. The news has been devastating as Fredrok has been one of the biggest fans of my comics and has been a good friend that I have met in eRepublik.

I remember Fredrok first contacting me about my comics after the one I posted thanking all of the allies who helped eAustralia free Western Australia from eIndonesia (the third time). He loved how fun they were and how much joy they could bring to people who were having a bad day. Being told that one of the reasons people keep playing in eRepublik is for the person you meet really meant a lot to me, and I felt the same way about Fredrok.

When Fredrok got a comic character of his own he loved it (I think he even showed some of his friends in real life). It was a good feeling to make someone happy so I am grateful that Fredrok could always find fun in this game through my work.

I don't know much of the details of his passing but I do hope that he is resting peacefully. I'm going to miss him and the conversations that we had (about random things to comic stuff - especially Bruce the Dropbear). His passing had really made me think about all the people I've met over the years through eRepublik. Even if we're all countries apart and we'll never meet one another in real life, we've all had some impact on each other's lives and I'm glad to have made a positive impact on Fredrok's life.

R.I.P Fredrik Johansson A.K.A Fredrok. You will be missed.
