Here's an overview of the results after yesterday's game.
Germany gets 100%
10 games, 10 wins for Germany. Their last game was only important for Belgium, who still had a small chance of qualification. Germany won (3-1), just as Turkey(1-0), so Turkey has to play play-offs, while Germany can rest untill this summer.
Russia goes to their neighbours
After an easy win against Andorra (6-0), Russia took the stage win. Ireland still has a chance on qualification after their important win against direct opponent for the play-offs, Armenia (2-1).
Slovenia tackles Serbia
Win in the group stage for Italy, but more important was the game between Slovenia and Serbia. This came to a 1-0 victory for Slovenia, so Serbia, who played well in South-Africa 2010, stays home. Estonia is the laughing third, so they can go to play-offs.
France only just
The top match was France-Bosnia/Hercegovina. France only needed a draw and got it (1-1). But winning the group with only one point ahead is just not good enough for the French team, which is always under pressure of the press at home.
Holland can lose
Gentleman's agreement in Sweden? However, Holland lost (3-2) after a long win streak, so Sweden can go through as best second (no play-offs). Hungary's period of football glory is way behind us now.
Greece keeps a cool head
Greece won with 2-1 against Georgia, but not that smoothly. A long time with one goal behind, kept hope in Croatia. But in the end Croatia still has to go to the play-offs, while Greece can concentrate to Poland/Ukraine.
Montenegro is the extra one
England didn't had to play anymore and Montenegro was also already sure of play-offs. No more excitement in this group, as several teams didn't placed their best men.
Denmark fires away
With a 2-1 victory against opponent Portugal, Denmark sets Portugal for two extra games needed for qualification. Norway had the same amount of points, but wasn't better than Portugal in their confrontations.
Scotland can forget it
Just as Germany, Spain won everything. Bad news for the Scottish who lost with 3-1 against them. Czech republic can laugh while they're in the play-offs, and Scotland will have to follow them on TV.
