Question 3 is incorrectly formulated you should have said the ball travel 115 metres using club 6.
Each club travels the distance of the previous club + the club number of the club
for example club 8 100
club 7 108 = 100 + 8
club 6 115 = 108 + 7
club 5 121 = 115 + 5
else the only other explanation is that the difference is previous club number \ 2 (where \ denotes integer division) x 2
so in first one club 8 = 100
club 7 = 100 + 8 \ 2 * 2 = 108
club 6 = 108+ ((7\2 ) * 2) = 108 + 3 x 2 = 114
club 5 = 114 + (6\2) * 2) = 114 + 6 = 120
