Predictions on National Goals

On the 747th day of the New World, for the first time in eRepublik, the countries now have official national goals. 80% of the elected presidents for this month had set official campaign goals that now have become national goals.

On the 4th of the next month the goals will be checked and monuments will be awarded.
At least five countries won't be able to accomplish all three national goals.
Wars will be fought on all the continents in order to decide which are these five countries.

1) In USA, the citizens decided to vote for a candidate that promised to rewrite history, by bringing two regions of UK (London and Northern Ireland) under the American flag. It is very interesting to see how things will go, because UK has the national goal of defending all their current regions, and those two specified above have Q5 Hospitals and Defense Systems installed.

2) Australia will be trying to accomplish something few dreamed at, expanding their control over two continents, by conquering two South-African original regions, currently under control of Indonesia, the great power that once had the entire Australia under its flag. As in the case of USA-UK, there can also be only one great winner, because Indonesia has set the goal of defending all its regions, and that includes the highly fortified South-African colonies.

3) Russia has decided to support a president that set the goal of controlling one more region of the already small country of North Korea. However, thy will surely engage resistance, as North Koreans have as goal defending all current regions, and they have already implemented a Q5 Hospital in the region Russia wants to control. South Koreans might help against Russia as their national goals is to retake control of a region that is currently under Russian flag.

4) A similar situation, from which only one can become a total winner is recorded in the case of Iran and Pakistan, the first one having as goal the conquest of a region, while the last is aiming at defending all current regions.

5) The south American continent has not been spared. Argentina decided to extend its borders by taking out an original region of Chile. And not just any region, but a region that currently has a Q5 hospital installed in it. Will Chile be able to accomplish the goal of defending all current regions ?

And now, about a conflict that may set old Europe on fire.

The Hungarians voted with enthusiasm the candidate that has the major goal of conquering four Romanian regions (Banat, Crisana, Maramures and Transilvania). The Romanians don't have the goal of defending all current regions, so, it can't be said that only of these two countries can accomplish the military goal. But everyone knows this is a fight between titans, and none of them will give up easily. It will surely be a tough job for Hungary, as all the regions have Q5 Hospitals and Defense Systems ready to support the Romanian resistance.

In another aspect involving Romania, it seems the union with Moldova is no longer desired. The Romanians preferred a president that promises to take away from the Hungarian control an Asian high iron colony, instead of voting for the candidate that had as campaign goal bringing all regions of Moldova under Romanian administration. As well, the candidate elected in Moldova was the one that promised to defend all current regions, letting no one damage the country's independence.
