Politics in the UK

Day 1,734, 09:44 Published in United Kingdom USA by Lisamunusira

The UK has a lot of political parties. Some big ones and some smaller ones. Only top 5 parties (in members) can run for congress (25th of each month). It is nice to be in a party. You are member of a community that tries to improve the UK.

Parties out of the top 5 are important too. They can be deciding (even win when they have enough support) in the country presidential elections. They can get someone elected when they place one member in a top 5 party. They can become a top 5 party too (John Bull is now on place 6, but it is only 6 members under People's Communist Party, it used to be a far bigger gap).

Strength in Unity!
For more than two years now, The Unity Party (TUP) has been one of the largest parties in the country. As a center-left, libertarian party we want to involve all citizens to strengthen our nation. We’ve elected over a dozen presidents in that time, and hundreds of congressmen. We’re known for being good at running the country, skilled administrators, and for developing players to fill these positions.

We encourage talent and activity and take great pride in giving responsibility to younger and newer players, both in the party and in government when we’re in power.

The great thing about that is in allowing personal goals to be fulfilled. Not everyone will end up as a bigshot politician, but those that want to, we help. Not everyone wants to be a massive company owner, but we have the author of the Economist, Iain Keers, and give the top advice on how to achieve that. Not everyone wants to run a game on the national forums, but we have Invalidation that made Game of Thrones an exciting role playing game. I lead TUP Family, a military unit with a nice supportive community, always fighting for what best is for the UK and open for all citizens.
Other parties will have similar people too, if TUP’s not for you, talk to them! I can’t stress enough how much support is out there for you, and about the importance of setting those goals for you game- you won’t regret it.

If you do decide on a goal, get in contact! I’d love to help you go about achieving them, no matter what party or path you choose.

At #tup.public you can find us on IRC to chat.
On the national forums we have a private forum open for our members. You can enlist here.
