These things would fix the game.
Start all over again all players including mine
After the game runs a bit reintroduce alliances but have controls make sure no alliance dominates
Limit how much players are allowed to buy
Actively find cheats and mulities and ban them "like you used to"
Do what you said you would do like the aircraft industry
Do not abandon the game yourself, how do you expect players to stay when months go without any news
Do this and the game will have new life.

start over would punish grind players and would lose them probably in other words you probably will only be left with visa players and the poor. dont know about the alliances either. limit how much one buys?why this game will always be a mass production game why not leave what works alone.
although yeah updates can be completed

I must admit I agree with RTK on that, it wouldnt change anything. You will still have tools, like RTK playing the game.
My thoughts:
- Starting all over again: You would annoy a lot of people who spent money on this game to get were they are. If you annoy them, you lose a steady income stream. So while in essence I agree with a level playing field, it would be something that needed to be work on in detail.
- Alliances: Agree, but how will you control it. For example if 500 new players signed up in Iran and they happen to be in alliance A, there power could be more then all the other countries combined. So that would make it harder to control.
- Limits: Agree, this will level the PTW/Fun playing field and will reduce the impact of Visa players have on the game.
- Multi's:100% agree.
- Updates: This would take years... after all we are still waiting on Q6 & Q7 houses. But with a system reset they could in theory release them then.
- Abandon: Agree, it does feel like they have abandon the game, since no update actually happens.

- MP: Remove the MP pack to allow lower players score the BH's and keep them involved, also look at altering the experience blockers.
- Congress deportation: Allow congress to vote in deporting people from the country.

And the the eRepublik resets and I believe they should every few years the people that supported the eRepublik with a credit card will be mad.
But they can not get over it good riddance, it is good to think of somebody else from time to time.
New player level 1 looks and seeks people at level 1000..... so what is the point.
I will soon have 200k Strength, and the Divisions only partly work.
They can give the us some sort of peace offering, then reset the game.
Balance the alliances can be difficult but there should be ways.
Maybe each alliance can have 5 members tops.
Alliances need to be bracketed Top 5 can have one ally from 5 to 10, 10 to 15
Not perfect but the Top 3 eCountries can not decide to take over everybody else
If they reset me I'd leave and never come back.
