Petition to rename Far Eastern Russia to West Alaska

I, gagah, Der Fuhrer of SEES, komandant of all, and all around cool dude, officially request that the name of the region known as "Far Eastern Russia" be changed to "Western Alaska".
The name of the region long known as "Far Eastern Russia" used to make a lot of sense logically. It was the furthest stretch of land that Russia had. However, things have changed.
With a third grader's critical thinking skills, you can tell that, "Far Eastern Russia", USA, makes absolutely no sense. Therefore, we decided to rename it. Now, in America, when we get tired of thinking of new names*, we just look at the states around it, choose one with the spin of a wheel, and assign a cardinal direction to it. Today, Alaska beat out Delaware and California(better luck next time). So therefore and in conclusion, please rename Far Eastern Russia to West Alaska, admins

Actually, historically, Alaska was the farthest eastern territory that Russia ever had (Russia had some settlements in California, but as far as I know never officially claimed the region.) That is why even today Alaska boasts a significant Russian population or people with Russian heritage. But you cannot expect Americans to know even their own history.
And, in Russia, the region is simply known as the Far Eastern; Far Eastern Russia is what it is called exclusively by the British and Americans. My heartfelt advice is for you to stop staring at the screen, power down your computer, and pick up a book.

Far Western America is the new name for WSR fgts, also, KAshile.......As an American, I took great offense to your little snarky comment there, and if you had brains in your head you would realize, the farthest eastern land of Russia is Far Eastern Russia, because it doesn't own Alaska anymore, you can't pull old history out of your ass just for your own convenience.
