Pannonian Nomad of UKPP - eUK Leaders Interviews June 2017

To prepare for the Congress Elections on the 25th, I am interviewing each of the UK Party Presidents as they once again battle for control of the nation.

The first to reply was Pannonian Nomad of UKPP so he has the first slot! Following soon is the interview with WookieO of UKRP with the others to follow as and when they reply!



Topher: Thank you for agreeing to the interview Pannonian. So how did you get started in eRepublik?

Pannonian: I first started in the early years, don't even remember anymore when was it exactly. At university I was reading an article in a newspaper about eRepublik, how Croatia conquered Serbia, so I'd decided to give it a try. Got bored after some time and stopped playing. After a few years I saw an email from eRepublik in the spam folder and logged in to my old account, which was crap, so I decided to start from zero and here I am...

I signed up for the NHS, the free food was big help (I think Alan Warwickshire was the name of the guy running it at that time). Every time I asked for help on my Military Unit's feed (The Royal Navy) there was always someone from the older players who helped with food and weapons. I learned as I went and from the eRepublik Wiki.

Topher: What do you want to achieve within eRepublik now?

Pannonian: For our party, I want us to stay in the top five and get more Congressmen than last month. I'm not that concerned about our membership number, I would rather have 30 active players than a party of 60 where two pages of members will probably die in the near future or are kept alive just for the sake of membership numbers.

Personally I'm increasing my air rank so I'm fighting only in air battles. As for the UK, I want us to expand to an exotic destination sometime in the future (airstrike Singapore or go down under or something) 😃

Topher: What are your political beliefs and policies in eRepublik?

Pannonian: Yes to wars, no to training wars. You either have a war or you don't, also yes to fighting for countries we have MPPs with. Yes, True Patriot damage is good, but we expect those countries to always help us, so we need to give something back in return. Regarding taxes I'm flexible, yes for low taxes, but yes to high taxes if the country needs that.

I'm not for helping players because I stopped believing there are new players. I'm for ensuring that the Military Units are well connected with the central government and helping them directly if they deserve it. It's up to the MU leaders to sort out their internal stuff and soldiers however they want...

We must also ensure that we don't elect people who are idiots or who talk a lot but don't actually say anything...

Topher: How do you think that your policies differ from the other parties?

Pannonian: I could answer you this question if I actually knew what their policies are. I generally dislike the other parties, let's talk about the top 5...

UK Reform Party with the pompous people who think they are always right and everyone else is wrong...

TUP sucks! Do they even exist? They are also often the moralfags of Congress...

British Patriots, well they were sending voters to UKPP many times to elect King William as Party President, so can't say they are liked in the UKPP...

WRP, I can't say I have anything against them. Maybe the fact that Aaron is a member 😃

Did I mention that TUP sucks? Because it does...
