Yesterday, Austria was joined by France, Malaysia, Bulgaria, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Japan, Switzerland, the United Netherlands, Ukraine, and the United States. We stood together. Countless forces from additional nations in PEACE GC, in EDEN, and outside of these alliances, worked against the Hungarian invaders - and we succeeded. Hungarian expansionism faced a defeat in Burgenland. They did not advance. We halted them.
We owe our greatest thanks to those brave Austrians who gave their all in the defense of their country. And we owe our greatest thanks to those nations, and those individuals who helped fight for us and our independence.
But our work is not done.
When the nation of Hungary launched its forces into Slovakia's four regions simultaneously, it took on a small, neutral nation much weaker than itself. It took on a nation it felt would be easy to conquer - so easy they provided no actual reasoning for war beyond a joke that they were "freeing them" from the "threat of invasion."
It took on a nation much like us. But this was an invasion that Hungary won. The nation of Austria condemned it - we called for an end to it. We refused to aid in it. But Hungary continued. And they went further. They invaded us, looking for more regions to fuel their imperial obsessions.
Yesterday, we dealt them a defeat in Burgenland. Today, we must take it further. Today, we move to liberate our friends in Slovakia.
Their cause is independence in the face of an imperialist aggressor. Their cause is our cause. And today, we fight for the liberation of Bratislava.

Good work. Most of hungarian people was an your!!!! side, and didnt fought, or fought in red side! Even in the end, the hungarian army pushed it tu secure it.
Do U really think that if Hungary wanted to conquer Austria, 2 mpps would save U? No. We did not attack, only our president pushed that button, and maybe 10% of our population.
You could solve it with a peace, even with France we wanted a peace. Now you make it hard...
I fully support what you are trying to do, very noble and brave.
@clawy seriously, then why are people fighting against the forces instead of letting them take back the Slovakian regions. That is a peaceful protest and it would work. Plus, why not impeach the CP? If they are really against the attacks, then why were they taken over? Uh... because people fought in the battles to TAKE Slovakia! -face palm-

Think about it, why did Burgenland was secured, and with how much. You will guess, Hungary didnt fought fully there, in hes will.

One was hosting the wargames of our enemies, the other was an ally until a couple of days ago.
At least that problem is solved now, and we can handle things easier.
@DaLe: the president resigned. The second placed candidate has all the power now, the in-game president does as he says.
bravo for making the game more interesting. However, I am concerned that we will not be able to play on the sympathy of the world the next time we come under attack.

we secured Burgerland after attack, because we hoped that France will have enought power..unfortunatly didnt have.. 😃 😃 😃

They lost because they fought with weaker weapons, with less strenght. Also because didnt really wanted to help.
About the attack, it was top 1 article here, that the people of Hungary dont agree with this move, our president resigned, aldo impeachment wasnt sucsessful, because the resignasion was told too late, to make it 2:1.

read some, more then Eden propagadna. We also have english translate too. And read comments, even in austria we wrote a lots of times.

Just one remark:
It's one day too early. After an important battle like yesterday it's not unusual to have around 40-50 health, which needs at least one day of training wars to recover.
If you want to become a war president, this would be a good addition to your masterplan. And try to avoid early training wars on the day you want to attack late on too. It draws away quite a lot of fights.

Spencer: Yes, thats why we won, because we are stronger, we trained more. But it wasnt so easy as you say. As i told you, sorry that 1 hunagrian hit 3 times better, then any other eden soldier. But Slovakia was still defended bye 25k citizens, with Poland and Canada.
Yet its not the matter of Slovakia, we talked about Austria, were lot of us wrote articles about the attack, and that we refused to fight against you.

If that is true, I wonder if we should await more attacks in the future (though I do believe that the majority of eHungarians still appreciates peaceful relations to eAustria).
When you ran for president, you promised accountable governance. I ask you as a citizen: Before the decision to attack Bratislava, did you attempt to negotiate with the Hungarian side on restoring Slovakia?

If these attacks will continue you're risking your country's total annihilation. You kept Burgenland because the invasion was against the will of the Hungarian population. Are you sure you will be able to fend off a full-scale attack?
The majority of Hungarians were outraged by the attack against Austria. We got rid of the president who made the creasy decision.
The new government followed the will of the Hungarian people and sent troops to restore Austrias souverenity.
Now you are spitting in the face the majority of Hungarians who were against an agression against Austria and attack us.
Even you Grantler have nothing to say against the warmongering foreigners who seem to take over Austria....quite a disappointment

it's not an attack against hungarian territory, I guess it's a quite different situation. Also, I was going through a lot of hungarian articles and what I was reading (translated) was a little different then what is the official version.
And yes, I think every eAustrian is aware that we wouldn't stand a chance against a full-scale attack. But again, we are not attacking Hungary. It is slovak territory!
But I must back up Josef Ka: have there been any negotiation with the hungarian side before starting this war?
Slovakia signed military agreements with and organised military training for our enemies in our backyard. Slovakia was not the same case as Austria.
This is the truth what I and other Hungarians have written. The majority of us stood on your side and in one day we got rid off the President "Termetes Samu" who attacked you. We did not follow like sheeps the presidents order but actively stood up against it.
Indeed no negotiations have taken place between Austria and Hungary. Based on our common history and family links (including my family) we should be brothers. I am deeply disappointed.
And should we be so sympathetic for Slovakia? The PM of eSlovakia, Rumpil was making jokes in his comments about killing all Hungarians with H1N1 and other viruses and got banned for racism afterwards. Perhaps it is the legendary Slovakian humour. I thought it is too much. It is a game afterall.
Yes, it is a game. And for many players it obviously is rather difficult to seperate IG from reality (probably inkluding myself).
On one side, it is understandable. If you love your country you only want all good for it, on the other side all kind of nationalism has a great impact on any kind of action.
Personally I really try to keep my emotions out of this, since I got a lot of RL friends all over the world, especially in eastern europe (due to my profession). But I am aware that for many players it seems to be difficult to seperate IG actions to RL relations, which sadly is affecting the games fun.
Anyway, Hungary and Austria will remain brother countries in RL that's for sure and it might get to this IG as well one day.
Makes me proud to be an eAustrian
