Good morning LAP!
It's time to vote for your next party president and I am looking to earn your endorsement!
First, since I'm new to the party and you may not be familiar with me, my qualifications:

★ One year Commanding Officer of the Special Forces
★ Sixteen term Congressman
★ Select Committee on Intelligence Member
★ Three term Deputy Speaker of the House
★ One term Party President - We the People
★ Party Founder - We the People
★ Economics Council Member
★ eNPR / Forum Benefactor
★ Recipient of Congressional W.H.A.L.E. Award
★ 3 Term vCP of Germany
★ 3 Term MoFA of China
★ 1 Term MoFA of Brazil
As you can see I've been able to accomplish a bit in my eRep and I promise to bring that same level of accomplishment to the LAP!
Being a new party the next few months will be critical for the LAP to determine its values and principals, what we stand for as a group, and our membership. As Party President my objective will be to guide our membership through that process, while increasing retention through an expansion of our food program and increasing recruitment by tapping sixth parties and new citizens.
To simply I have a five point plan for improving LAP's status as a kick ass party:
1.) Import inactive oldfriends to give the party a sense of place and gravitas as well as a sense of history and meaning. Right now LAP is a very young party, but that means it lacks the sort of institutional memory that parties like the Feds or USWP have.
2.) Establishment of a party treasury. We've got stuff- now it's time to organize it! We can run a grab bags fundraiser to generate a reserve and then use those funds to expand our food program.
3.) Writing of a party charter is a must so we can codify the basic rules of the party so there isn't a question every month about when we open primaries or what not.
4.) Establishment of a Congressional Caucus. Right now when LAPers go into Congress they're free to follow their own political agenda, but sometimes that is in direct conflict with the needs of the party. The office of party whip will be established and will be an important position in leadership so that our Congressional team is organized and effective.
5.) Future leaders program (FLP) as a young party our new players are our future, and the final principal of my plan is that no player is too new or too inexperienced to lend their hand to the building of our party. During my term as Party President anyone that is interested in leadership will have space made available to them. Even things as mundane as shout echo'ing can truly magnify the public presence of our party and can't be discounted.

God it pains me to agree with Pfeiffer, but he is RIGHT!
If you are elected LAP PP after publically stating you are "new to the party", something is seriously wrong.
In addition, the Vote buying is something the community agreed to no longer do as a whole, and you violate the trust of everyone by circumventing that agreement.

Also, the entire party is new. I don't know what people are thinking here. The party has been around since OCTOBER. This is the fifth PP election ever.

initial mission of LAP was to be among the top 5 parties of eUS, it completed that mission and moreover it is still in the Top 5 parties- keeping RGR's AFA and their puppetry below.

You know what I think as the PP going out. I don't care who wins either Oblige or Max. As long as it is someone who won't screw over the party. Both are obvious pro-ATO candidates. And if you give more than one fuck about a party you aren't in then you are very sad and lonely and have too much time on your hands to purposely disapprove of someone you have no right to judge.
tl;dr? If you aren't in LAP then stfu and get over yourself. You are just acting like a child. You know Oblige has enough experience to be a PP. Hell anyone who has basic knowledge and can read can do the job as long as they don't do something stupid like give the party over to some random.
Man, I don't know about Oblige's credentials. I remember years ago, when he was president for four straight terms and I was in the AF, he once said to me, "Um, eShades...". Actually, nvm, I won't say it; it's too traumatic. I'll keep it hidden deep down and cry years later when I can't take it anymore.

LAP gave me, as a new player, the chance to get involved. I was in a Top 4 party when I first joined, trying to get involved but mostly getting passed around and given the cold shoulder. This is understandable since I don't understand all the workings and the inside jokes, etc, but LAP is a place where people like me can get their feet wet and feel a sense of accomplishment. Maybe, instead of belittling that, you haters should learn something from it.

I was speaking to those who feel that LAP should be nothing more than an ATO effort. Why not try to make the most of the situation?
To voice my opinion on Oblige, I have no reason to hate on him. He brings experience, ideas and ambition, all done in a respectful manner. So until he proves otherwise, he'll have my support.
