People of eAustralia,

Today I officially announce on eRepublik that I, Newt Gingrich, will be running for Prime Minister of eAustralia for the December term under the flagship of the ANP. I have be weighing for months now whether to run or not and I finally decided that this month is the right time to run and hopefully win the PMship.

For those of you who do not know me, I am currently the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2nd term) as well as a member of ACUK's Foxtrot squad and an ANP member. I have also been a Senator for QLD (6 terms), MoICS (1 term), dMoFA (1 term), dSpeaker of the Senate (1 term) and finally ANP President and Vice President (1 term each).

In a day or 2 I will release my platform (manifesto) for my course of action if elected PM this upcoming term. A day after that I will announce my prospective cabinet who will work along side me to help move eAustralia in the right direction.

I look forward to succeeding Cerri as PM and I feel she has done a wonderful job. No matter what you think of her, she should be commended for her term. Though her choices may not have been the most popular, she has done what she feels is right for the country and that type of leadership is what I plan to bring to the table.

I ask that on December 5th you vote Newt Gingrich for PM!

Actually Chonkster it will not be more of the same. What I was saying was that Cerri made hard choices that she felt were the right course of action. What I plan to do is make the hard choices. They will not all be the same as Cerri.
