Ministry News - Minister Resigns

Day 467, 20:44 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Ministry of Trade

Just so I notify you all personally, I've decided to resign from my position for a few reasons. I have an UMoT who's done well this term (in Funky), but otherwise was pretty lax. We managed to rescue the diamond and gift markets, and so long as the RM rebates continue, as well as the work for the Berlin Pact, Kangaroo Treaty, and perhaps some of the other stuff I was working on the eUK will be just fine.

I've decided I'm needed elsewhere in the world now, and am moving on to Mexico. I believe in the freedom of what is my home country, and feel that my knowledge and experience is needed there. I think I can help the economic and military side, and may just get involved in Politics.

You never know 😉

Anyhow, it's been an honor and a privilege serving next to each of you, even though at times I certainly didnt always get along with everyone. I am glad you managed to put up with an old fool such as myself, and hope that I am remembered fondly as someone who contributed well with effort, activity, and energy. My aim was never to truly connect with any one ideal or philosophy, but to contribute to them all in any way I could.

The eUK has it's work cut out, for as the population grows, the problems we used to have in size for the worse, those will change, however the battle will turn from being able to find active people to keeping track of them all. Our population is now humungous, and it will certainly be a challenge to anyone running it.

I would like to personally thank the UKRP, my party of choice for a long long time, for the support and friendship it has provided me. I will be UKRP to the core, much like I was and am RfC to the core. If you need me, I will be there to help in any way I can.

To those who I've worked with, for, along side, and against, good luck. You're going to need it. There's too many people to specifically name, so I'll keep it short and sweet, and say best of luck to the eUK.

On a personal note, I hope that the eUK has the guts to stand up to Atlantis, this war, and the BS it's put up with for the last five months, and actually do what is "the right thing". I know what that is. Let's see what the eUK Commons and PM think.

So good bye, eUK.
